javabeans: The City Hunter and Nana Bear?!! They’ve just confirmed it, via Park Min-young’s agency.

girlfriday: They’re DATING? In REAL LIFE?

javabeans: It’s like my fantasies have collided with real life and now I’m all confused where one starts and the other stops.

girlfriday: And that’s different from a regular day how? Maybe it’s a sign that we should just give into City Hunter being reality.

javabeans: I…am…so…conflicted. On one hand, there go my fleeting, albeit delusional, daydreams of ~~kidnapping~~ — er, winning over Lee Min-ho with my charms. On the other hand… it’s City Hunter and Nana Bear!

girlfriday: I’m simultaneously wailing and squeeing.

javabeans: So, the facts: They’ve known each other for years and even were in a drama together — 2007’s I Am Sam, although she was a lead and he was just a minor supporting character. But they reportedly developed feelings over the course of shooting City Hunter.

girlfriday: Because how could you NOT fall in love with Lee Min-ho in City Hunter??

javabeans: DUH, talk about foregone conclusion. The official story goes, they started seeing each other after the show wrapped — a cup of coffee here, a drink there — and that developed into full-blown romance. Now they’ve been a couple for a month.

girlfriday: I KNEW his googly eyes at her wearing nothing but his white shirt wasn’t just an act.

javabeans: This is every shipper’s, fanficcer’s, drama fanatic’s dream come true. Almost literally. I bet this soothes some wounded souls after the ambiguousish ending, yeah?

girlfriday: I still contend that ending is in no way ambiguous, but whatever.

javabeans: I agree with you on the ghost theory (as in, PIFFLE!) but the romance was left open, kind of.

girlfriday: Ah yes. Well I much prefer their real-life counterparts getting the happily ever after.

javabeans: Aww, I just want them to be together all giddy-like and happy forever and ever.

girlfriday: All goofy and adorkable.

javabeans: Also: City Hunter 2!! Please? Don’t you lovebirds want an excuse to shoot a whole twenty-episode series where making goggly eyes at each other and being adorable is part of the job description? And you get PAID to do it???

girlfriday: Romance Lee Min-ho on- and off-screen? Best. Job. Ever.

This awesome news made me insanely HAPPPPEEEHHHH!!!! There is a drama god after all who listens to fervent shippy hearts... bwahahaha

PMY is so lucky and brave... am sure she's getting some antis now but PMY please be strong!!!! A lot of people are supporting you both... Just enjoy the feeling...

I love the way their relationship started. Being friends first is ALWAYS a good thing... Somehow, I can sense that this would last a long time...might not be ever after but who cares? Being young and in love with person you are most comfortable with is what counts... Sharing the experience, creating the memories....aaargh am so envious of PMY to be able to do all that with no other than Lee Min Hot...

As for you LMH...kudos... PMY is such a beautiful person inside and out...from the little I read about her, most of those who know her do find her lovable and kind-hearted... I knew something was cooking when I saw the episode 9 kiss BTS!!! and you were really googly eyed during those BTS in the cafe shot where Nana got hit with the eggs!!! you were just watching her do her shots with starry eyes!!!

I ship them so hard, but never think that they'd date in real life...............but THIS.IS.JUST.GREAT.

I gotta be honest. To be totally selfish, I ain't too happy. LMH being somewhat off the market is not cool.

But I am older and wiser (ok, just way older) and wish them lots of fun. They work in a treacherous business. There will be too many literal and figurative intruders in their relationship.

I already have my Prince Charming, so I'm not sad, lol. LMH is a cutie, though, and seems like such a nice guy in the interviews, etc that I've seen. They are still very young, and I just wish for both of them to be happy. Which may be a tall order for a celebrity couple.

Read this during class. Sooo hard to keep myself from smiling and gasping and screaming. They had great chemistry, but I never thought I would see them as a real life pair. But even though, I'm so glad there together!

Reading this after reading the recap for Scent of a Woman episode 10, I feel like I'm on an emotion overload right now. Not the best idea, since I'm in a lecture class and any sudden movements will seriously bring me un needed attention. But yay for awesome plot movements and OTPs

i dont understand the antis, they are human and fall in love too..and hey, its only dating...

but then OTP shipping does not seem impossible at all..i am rooting for PSH and JYH, the dooley couple/shinhwa of YAb and Hs, they have amazing chemistry both on and off screen and not only are they playful but there's some flirting too (maybe not intentional)...they are so cute together and are also friends like LMH and PMY ..
