Go Soo is off the market *sadface*

Aw, man. The 32-year-old Go Soo (Will It Snow For Christmas?) has revealed that he’s dating. *tear* It’s a sad day for my fantasy life wherein his intense, smoldering gazes are reserved solely for myself. (Hey, it’s a fantasy. I get to pretend it could happen!)
According to a press release circulated on March 10, he was introduced to his girlfriend “a long time ago,” and their relationship has recently developed into a romantic one. News initially leaked on March 8 that she is a university student of fine arts, and Go Soo was in New Zealand shooting a CF at the time. Upon his return to Korea, he released the official statement addressing the rumors.
As the lady in question isn’t a celebrity, Go Soo explains that would like to be careful regarding media attention. He stated that they are still in a “cautious stage” in their relationship, adding that he would keep the press informed when he had more good news to share, and requested, “I hope you’ll be able to help me until we’re able to progress to a beautiful love.”
It’s pretty savvy of him to speak as though he’s including the media in the process, so as to court their favor rather than alienating them. I wonder if the tactic will work, but he’s rather well-liked on the whole, so I can see him winning a few of them over. (On the other hand, the Korean media is a pretty rapacious bunch on the whole, especially when they smell gossip.)
Oh well. I suppose this news alters nothing, since the good thing about fantasies is: Reality has no place in them.

Good for him and his girlfriend. Actor Jin Goo is also dating a university student, confirming it some 3 weeks ago. Despite the "risks" it's great that they came out clean about their relationship rumors and be upfront about it. Fans can be understanding & supportive if enough info is being announced so that they won't grasp on speculations only.

I'm relieved to read that it's not another fellow celebrity. I know it seems silly, but there's just something really nice and genuine (ok...maybe it's not as genuine still but a girl can hope) about a celebrity falling in love with someone who isn't in the industry. Plus, it gives the rest of us hope for a chance encounter with our favorite celebrities that may or may not blossom into love too ;) haha...I can keep dreaming, I know.

I second that it Pathatic and scary that a actor not even a role model per said have to get approval from total stranger!I second that it’s Pathetic and Scary that he has to announces his dating status. Good Grief do people really live this way? It's totally crazy when I read how actor/actress hide they relationship like it some kind of dirty thing. Jason Bieber the hottest young star for Teeny in the United States. Dates who he wants when he wants with no fear of his professional career being damage by his personal life. The reason why it no big thing in the States is because it is interesting to see who hooking up, but it not “IMPORTANT” People in Korean really need to find a life.

Listen, my (imaginary) relationship with (my husband) Go Soo cannot be altered by his decision to be with another (real) woman.

I like men particularly an actor like Go Soo who takes responsibility and just plain honest with his personal life. I am sick and tired of these korean celebrities that keep on denying and lying about who they date or what not?
Go Soo should be recommended for his honesty... I find him rather sexy for doing something courageous..

Obviously they deny dating for a reason; nothing is just black and white like that. And I don't see how it's any of our (us, fans) business anyway whom they are in love with. It's not like they need permission; we're not their moms and dads or related to them in any way. If one does announce it then I'm happy for that person and it's nice to know that they've at least found someone they can be with during tougher times. But if they don't say anything then I don't see any problems with that either.
