Here are some more stills from the drama 49 Days, in which a young woman (Nam Gyuri, of Life Is Beautiful) is given a second chance at life, using the body of another woman (Lee Yo-won, of Queen Seon-deok).

When the drama starts out, Nam Gyuri’s character Ji-hyun is at the peak of happiness — she’s from a wealthy family and about to be married to her honey, Bae Soo-bin (Dong Yi), with whom she poses in these stills featuring the two as a happy couple. An accident sends her into a coma, whereupon the pretty-boy reaper (Jung Il-woo, Return of Iljimae) strikes a deal with her allowing her to borrow the body of someone else, on the condition that she earn the tears of three people who love her (family not included).

In the bottom set of stills, we have Lee Yo-won playing Yi-kyung, a part-time employee at a convenience store. This shoot also served as the backdrop for the drama’s title clip, and was filmed earlier this month.

The scene looks like it occurs after the accident but before the body-inhabitation, since it involves Nam Gyu-ri and Jung Il-woo. And can I just say: OMG the hair. It’s like he crawled out of an ’80s New Wave video. I love it.

So while Nam Gyuri’s role is the main character, she’ll be acted by Lee Yo-won for most of the drama, and the male lead with top billing is Jo Hyun-jae (Three Dads, One Mom), in his first project after completing his military service. Seo Ji-hye (Kim Suro) is cast as Ji-hyun’s friend (frenemy?), with Bae Geu-rin (You’re Beautiful) caught in between.

49 Days airs following Sign on SBS, and premieres on March 16.

More and more soul switching drama nowadays, I guess Secret Garden effect? By the way, I just finished watching Who Are You? I'll just hold off this one for sometimes before watching this, or else I'll go nuts thinking that this could be real...lol

Interesting but is it just me or does Lee Yo Won seem to carry on her 'Bad Love' one-dimensional/deer on headlights look here... I hope she snaps out of it!

Well to be fair in Bad Love she was in an emotionally draining relationship and in these pictures she plays a character in a deadbeat job --- so the empty gaze is understandable lmao

She just lost her dear brother, the only one family she had, they were so close with each other, therefore in some synopsis they said she'll be try suicide before Death Angel save her. Besides from her job, you could say that she has rough life, there was even some pics with her bruised face. So her weary and dazed expression in that stills were makes sense and even required.

OMG looks super interesting!! plus i loved 'who are you?' so hopefully this will serve up the same awesome (not story/plot-wise, just in utilizing the body switch...unlike some drama we know, *cough*secret garden*cough*). and jung il woo looks hot!

wait, if nam gyuri is using lee yo-won's body, then...where's the real lee yo-won? in a coma? unfair mr. reaper. i guess i'll have to wait and see...

production team is hiding him for now.... they've given out many details about the other characters but not Jo Hyun Jae's... for some reason they're giving out just a bare sketch of his character... not even releasing enough of his photos ....

I think if she need 3 people crying because of her,,, its mean,,, her boyfriend not crying (from his heart)??and her friend too??
if they are crying, so she doesn't need second chance at her life.. Hemm......

There are a couple more horrible pictures of the horrible hair of my Jung. These are the slightly better ones. OMG, I don't get his/his stylist obsession with perm!!! It's like he just wants to destroy his pretty face, maybe he thinks he can cancel the pretty and make people focus on his acting?? NOT HAPPENING!
