Oh, Kim Soo-hyun. Noona Slayer, wearer of strange clothes, king of the sexy furrowed brow. What have you done to us? Is there a cure? And if so, do we even want to know? Gonna go out on a limb and say we’re pretty content to stay this way for a long, long time.
Kim Soo-hyun is currently rocking it out as country-bumpkin-turned-hottie Song Sam-dong in KBS’s Dream High (aka Kicker of My Princess’s Ass, aka Girlfriday’s Winning Horse). Here he poses for a spread in the March issue of Marie Claire Korea.
I know, we all loved him before Crack High. But tell the truth…didn’t you go from oh cute to SWOON when you heard him sing? And that’s not even counting his amazing presence as an actor. For someone still so young (**ducks for cover**) and green in his career, he speaks volumes in a look, and in a moment of silence.
JYP or no awesome Robo-JYP, if Sam-dong doesn’t end up being K, imma slap a bitch.

I love this boy, really. I'm catching myself looking at his lips most of the time while watching DH. And man, those legs are to die for. UNFFFFFFFFFFFFF.
He has a beautiful face. It's not perfect but a fine work of art.

I think his lips are more square. There is no real slant(?) at the ends, they are just nice, thick, soft, and biting-my-bottom-lip-come-hither worthy. Um.. what was my point again?

oh, and my favorite part about him besides his very lusty lips is that I love his skin tone. IDK is that's PC to say or not, but I think his skin color is really (hmm, how do I describe it without making it sound like an excerpt from some erotica novel, um..) beautiful. I also love his neck.
Okay I should stop. Noona killer he is. I feel dirty now.

Yeah, his face is not perfect, but you know what? You usually get bored by perfection quite fast because it got no flaws. Perfection means there is no room for advancement and that´s booooooooriiiiiiing. But this dude...he is incredible the way he is now, but I know for sure he can get even better and how awesome is that? Think about it, ladies. SWOOOOOOOONNNN

I agree with yah. This is seriously the first time, I had that second lead syndrome. I'm usually all for the male lead. Also, at first I liked Taecyon coz I heard that he's a super fan of Ha Ji Won (even flashed his choco abs for her at one point). Then Sam dong came along with his secret ambition and deep soulful eyes. Top it off with a disability that only made him work harder than the rest. *sigh. Now I'm just annoyed whenever Hye mi & Jin guk have their moments..
P.S. I just looked it up, we were born the same year. Winner!!! :)

no offense all, but since i watch family outing 2, i lost interest in taec, keke. but he's quiet good here. and actually i was more anticipating wooyoung but when i saw soohyun's acting, DAMN, he's the best between those 6. the cutest yet hottest. xD

im sorry, but sam doong is not the 2nd lead in "Dream High". maybe everybody got confused (even me) in the beginning coz, taecyon got to kiss the lead girl first instead of sam doong...
but sam doong's onscreen presence undeniably screams -- i'm better!! -- ...that's why everyone is falling for him nonetheless!

is he really??? I read here that he was signed to be the 'lead' but I wasn't really sure, him not being on the pilot episode and all. I'm relly hoping for Hye mi to finally wake up, see past Jin guk's abs and fall head over heels in love with our Sam Dong.. Yet, I don't think she deserves his love.
I guess I'll be more happy with Sam Dong winning the Grammy's! The boy who'll trump Lady gaga's egg :)

I am completely gaga for this boy, so much so that I've been digging the Internet for his past work, subs or no subs! The only things I have left to catch up on are Giant, Kimchi Cheese Smile, and his really obscure movies... Good thing he's not that much younger than me so I feel a little less guilty!! If only I can have me a Kim Soo-hyun in real life. Sigh.

@girlfriday....i agree to everything you wrote except for one...in my opinion...the K in the drama of Dream High represent the "good luck" charm that was passed around by the leads to bring them "luck"...in my opinion, it is some sort like the "wet blanket" of snoopy...in this case, the amulet or whatever...give the person who holds it confidence to do his/her best...thus making "the good luck" charm work...if you will notice..it was passed from one lead to another...after the former achieved his/her goal...

No no. At the beginning... K was a singer that has achieved some recognition as a top best singer and then the director was interviewed that K was originally from Kirin high and then they flash a picture which was originally taken when he was still in school.
And the picture showed the whole cast. Jin guk,hye mi,sam dong,baek hee,pil suk
But they never say who is the singer 'K'
The writers also said they havent decided who 'K' is and they will wait to the last minute where they will review all the characters then decide who will the singer 'K' be...
I hope its Song Sam Dong too.
Made him lose his hearing and depressed then give him back hope and make him go strive for his dream again if he doesnt become the best... Become 'K'
I might just.... Argh

i think K is baekhee. yeah, i hate her character, but started to give her a chance since i found her stage is awesome and now she start once again from the bottom. i love samdong but he's not really an idol material. but who knows? this drama never fails to surprise me! <3
