Shin Mina holds her first ever fanmeeting

It’s hard to believe that someone as high-profile and well-known as Shin Mina has never held a fanmeeting before — even if it usually is the men who get all the big fan events — but it’s true. Ten years after her debut, Shin is just now holding her first fanmeeting, which is no doubt spurred largely by her renewed popularity after starring in this year’s hit fantasy romantic-comedy My Girlfriend Is a Gumiho.
Shin has ten films and five dramas to her resumé — which include projects like Devil, Go Go 70s, The Naked Kitchen, and A Love to Kill — so she’s already established herself over the past decade. Plus she has all those CFs to her name. But Gumiho did introduce her to a new kind of popularity and earned her much love for her adorable portrayal of an otherworldly heroine.
The fanmeeting will feature all the usual activities, which naturally includes a performance by the star; she has sung on several soundtracks before, including Gumiho, as well as with rock band Loveholics. The event takes place this Saturday, the 11th, at Seoul’s Sogang University.

Dramabeans? I am going to correct your info. You missed one drama where she played as a sister to Lee BY. It's Beautiful Life..(title something like that). She is my favorite. She played in many movies..

till Secret Garden, Gumiho was my best of 2010, now one of the best, kekeke.
I really loved her last drama. we could see her another side thanks to that drama and she had a perfect match with LSG!!!

Not really a huge fan of her, but I'm glad she's appreciated more by the fand because of Gumiho. I remember reading in some forums where people hate her in A Love to Kill, reading all these insults that I think she doesn't really deserve (what can I do. they were fangirls). So yeah, she deserves this popularity even though she's known as a really talented actor-- even before she became more famous because of Gumiho.

i hated her character in ALTK.. but i don't hate her. i adored her to pieces in Gumiho.

One of my good friends can't stand her because of ALTK. I tried to explain to her that she's not the character from the drama, but she wouldn't listen to me. :/

Oh, how I wish I was in Korea. I've loved her since "Punch" which was... embarrassingly kind of lame lol. But I love almost all the movies she's been in.
I honestly hope to see her on the small screen soon. Gumiho is still the one in my heart of hearts.

she intrigued me enough in love to kill that i actually tracked down the other movies she was in just because. of course, i'm not a big rain fan, so i never had the anti-thing going. and of course she was adorable in her last drama.
if anyone desurves a fan meeting, its her. i just hope she doesn't keel over from stage fright.

I'm a Rain fan but she totally matched him in A Love To Kill and since then I adored her and thought she was a capable actress. I also went hunting after ALTK to see what else she had done.
Silly fan-girls hating on her but it doesn't help that she was linked to an idol star (Big Bang's T.O.P). I'm just happy she is now finally getting appreciated and loved by the audience. I say about time.

Loved her in Gumiho. She has one of the prettiest smile (next to Gong Yoo and Yoon Kye Sang) that make you want to smile in return.

I've seen Shin Min Ah in a couple different things before gumiho and never really cared. But after Gumiho, I totally have a girl crush on her. I went and watched all her movies and dramas that I happened to miss out on. Hope she does something new soon!

I did not think much of her acting in some of her dramas/movies,but she definitely nailed the Gumiho character. LSG was ok, but she was the bright star in that drama.
