Han Jung-soo joins King Geunchogo
by javabeans
Han Jung-soo, aka Chuno‘s “General Choi,” will be making a special appearance in the upcoming KBS drama King Geunchogo, the sageuk set in the Baekje kingdom that stars Gam Woo-sung as the king, as well as Kim Ji-soo and Ahn Jae-mo.
Han’s role isn’t a leading one, but it’s more than a cameo; he’ll be featured steadily throughout the drama, from the first episode through the 16th. According to one rep from the drama, Han was the first pick for the character based his Chuno role. He’ll once again be playing a warrior, and will protect the king silently through his numerous hardships.
Han’s last drama role was in Prosecutor Princess earlier this year, and he recently took to the stage for the play Fool For Love.
Kin Geunchogo will begin filming this month and will premiere on KBS in November.

I was so disappointed that he wasn't the main actor in Prosecutor Princess that I stopped watching.

It's a miss you don't finish PP. He and Choi Song Hyun (Prosecutor Jin) have some nice moments near the end. ;)
How was his charactor in Chuno, btw?

Well, to be honest, he is big. *Ahem* *Looks around guiltily*
From what I gather, he is one of those actors who has discovered success later in his professional life. I do wish he had a bigger role in PP or at least, more depth was added to his character (a fault generally with most of the characters in PP other than the two leads but I say this as someone who really liked PP).
