Well Chae Rim is still remember fondly in china for her chinese dramas she worked on there so be well received they i would think.

Eh... approaching this with LOTS of hesitation. Not that I don't like some of the people, it's just that... I mean, why did they have to choose the Meteor Garden 2 PD?!

Also, I think I'm having a hard time visualizing Jang Hyuk as the Jang Donggun character when he just did a rough character in Chuno. LOL. There's like a contrast in images right there, hah.

I rarely keep up with Chinese films/dramas, so I probably won't be keeping up with this. But I might catch up here and there to see how Zhu Dan will take over Chae Rim's role.

@A. OHHH YEAH. Not just in Chuno, but he's had several roles where he's more "rough" than gentle. Ooh, this will be interesting.

A bit OT, but I really want to see Chae Rim in a new non-ajumma drama soon as well. I actually didn't care much for her role in Oh My Lady. Not Chae Rim herself, but her character. It's like woman become more simple and start acting like really old grandmas and such as they age and become the stereotypical "ajumma". I'm not much of a feminist, but there's a lot of chic ajummas out there too. Chae Rim has been doing a lot of ajumma roles lately, and I want her in something new!

Ah, I Love this series SO Much back then. But I more attract watched Kim So Yeon's Character. I Love Young Mi, LOL

hmmmm,,,no one can beat Kim So-yeon in the role.
People should never remake successful drama/movie, they always come out not great

Oh, I know what character she's going to play! It's actually more of a homage than anything else - If I'm not mistaken, she'll play the part of Jang Hyuk's first love who will die after being struck by a terrible illness, leaving room for Zhu Dan to enter his heart.

AAE is such a classic that should not be remade. The 2000 AAE is simply a masterpiece, no remakes from any country can top it. It leaves too many memories to too many fans around the world even after 10 years..

Oh I remember watching All About Eve.
I liked Kim So-yeon's character more than Chae Rim's; found her more interesting even though she was evil.
I watched it as a kid but can still remember So-yeon's character even now.

all about eve was my first korean drama back when i was a kid. it left impressions on me. and i just loved to hate kim so yeon's character.

All About Eve is an American classic that should not have been remade at ALL so if SK did why not allow others?

i don't give a damn about your American All about Eve classic and this China production is doing a remake based on the 2000 AAE korean drama, not your damn american movie/drama whatsoever... The 2000 AAE korean drama is by it's own, not a remake from any other movie/drama. Only the title could have been the same.

I like Chaerim, i always just find her extremely likable in her roles. I mean you can't help but root for her. While she is not as striking as some Korean actresses, she does have a face you don't get tired of.

How about bring Kim Jun Eun back for a cameo too? I almost forgot she was the anchor in the original.

Chae Rim will play a senior anchor who is/was in a relationship with Jang Hyuk's character in the drama. Her character will eventually die (in a car accident/ illness?), and the role was not in the original drama.

Anyway, it was said that Jang Hyuk personally contacted Chae Rim to have a cameo in the drama, even though they haven't even met. Weird that their first meeting happened in China.

AAE is the first korean drama that made me into a K-Drama addict...

this is the first korean series that i started to be addicted. chae rim is so great in her role in all about eve. i watched this for almost 5x.
when i heard that she had a cameo appearance here i became more excited to watch this remake.
CHAE RIM is my no. 1 korean actress hope she do another series w/ ALEC SU.

I have been like Chae Rim very much since I watched All about eve which it was my first korean drama and I feft impressions on her.

i watched her episode in remake of "all about eve" and i was so sad for her role. she was my favorite korean actress.
