And the fangirls go wild. I'm excited about this as well, but I'm really curious about who will be the female lead opposite him as she is the main character. Don't know a lot of older Korean actresses, but I hope they get a good one.

me too actually. I still can't quite accept big age gap difference pairing for more than 10 years old, less than that is okay, I guess. As long as the guy is not too young-looking. Well, probably because the society that I'm living now is one that hardly accept this kind of relationship. But yeah... I guess it's a trend now, I hope it won't be a trend IRL though. I still love my oppas than dongsaengs :P

I hope YEH or LDH as well. Not Kim Sun Ah please, although I'm a fan of her. But I guess, she would look like his mother if she's paired with him. IMO :)

He is a good actor. He can pull it off. I am looking forward to it.

Now that I think about it, I don't think there's a better Korean actor to do this remake.

I dont know about the femaie lead, but after watching the jdrama version again, the best friend lead reminds me a lot of Lee Hyori for some reason.

I'm so excited that this has finally been confirmed. I really look forward to JGS in this role -- I love that as he's gotten older, he seems to be looking for more challenging works with lots of character depth to explore. I love that he's going for such a non-traditional leading role and love story. I just hope they find the right actress to play opposite him -- this is a very different kind of story, and both roles are great opportunities for strong, daring actors.

I love Kim Sun Ah but I don't think she has the "serious" vibe down. There's something really endearing about her voice--that's not the female lead's description and (what I find to be) her charm. She's supposed to be (I think) a serious, straight-laced, I-ain't-havin'-it kinda woman. Su Ae. Definitely. Ha Ji Won's a bit too young and frail. Su Ae can be strong and fragile when necessary.

I am over-thinking this, I know. (shaking head)
Regardless, you know I'll be watching this and keeping my fingers crossed that they'll turn this into a series :0 )

I DO agree with you --- @ Miszronaldo #2 --- I hope Yoon Eun Hye should take the leading female lead in THIS incoming movie! Lolz, I can imagine that 2 people -- Jang Geun Seok and Yoon Eun Hye would enjoy together so funnny while acting like that! =)
