now that i have that out of my system, i'm really excited about the female lead, and adorable as his, how likeable and good the drama turns out will probably all rest on her shoulders, what with playing such a character. will resist major excitement until she has been cast. at least she'll have more balls than minam! <3

The combination of the Hong Sisters and Lee Seung-gi is a dream come true. He still has a ways to go as an actor, but he has wonderful potential and I can definitely see him as a wimpy guy in love with a gumiho.

This is wonderful--a drama I'm really looking forward to following another one I'm super-excited about (I Am Legend), as well as two I love right now!!! What more could a girl want? =]

I'll definitely be watching too! In my experience with Hong dramas, the watchability is completely dependent on the leads (since we already know we're in for an addictive, hilarious treat based on the writing). HGD was loads of fun from beginning to end thanks to the three great leads. MG was loads of fun but got a little annoying towards the end because of some weak acting (and a little plot silliness). YB was TONS of fun... until I just couldn't take Park Shin Hye's cute act anymore.

Lee Seung Ki is definitely a WIN. He's a bundle of sweetness and so promising as an actor. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed they get a good female lead!

I'm really looking forward to this too, and I was just thinking the other day that it would be awesome if they cast Moon Chae Won as the gumiho. She's drop dead gorgeous, has the acting chops, and it'd be a BL reunion between her and LSG. What more could they ask for? :P

But last I heard, Shin Se Kyung was rumored to be very close to accepting it. I can still hold out hope, right? :P

Jb who's your pick or picks....it has to be someone with guts--of course bitchy, gorgeous female lead, Yoon Eun Hye, Kim Tae Hee, Chae Rim.... Really someone who would be fun---opposite Lee Sung Gi. The Hong sisters always seem to make their stories worthwhile to watch....

how exciting! this year has been a fantastic year in terms of the kdramas being broadcasted and this one is no exception. The Hong sisters never fail to make me laugh and for that alone, i'll be watching. LSG sounds fine...he's likeable and i can totally see him in the role so i'm fine with him. i'm just really scared about the female lead...she'd better be good or else it'll just ruin the momentum for the show. i prefer MCW cause i think she'll be perfect and I like her acting a lot more than SSK, but either would be fine with me.
very excited...cause i wasn't a huge fan of You're Beautiful (it was, in my opinion, one of the weaker and less interesting of the Hong sister dramas except for the split) so i'm crossing my fingers for this one!

Shin Se-kyung is an absolute treasure, she'll be perfect in a Hong Sisters version of a Gumiho.

Moon Chae Won definitely needs to be a female lead one of these days (I feel that she's so wasted as a second female lead) and it would be awesome if she was with LSG in a Hong Sisters' drama, especially after seeing them together in SI, though their relationship in that didn't work out. Well, even if they don't choose MCW, I'm sure they'll choose an actress who can work well with LSG.

Reports have been released that Sandara Park is on the verge of being cast as the gumiho. Not so sure how I feel about this..

I really hope Shin Se Kyung gets the role of Gumiho. She fits it so perfectly appearance wise. Rumors are that Sandara is in the running for the part, but I really hope she doesn't get the part. Sandara is too inexperienced for the lead role... a supporting role is fine, but not the lead.

I am very excited over this new drama...but its soooo far away. Ah.

I am excited for this just because it's a Hong Sisters drama. Casting LSG is a bonus, and we'll wait for the casting of the female lead til I say "I'm sold!!l for this drama!

Acting wise, yes I guess she is experienced in the Phillipines and I think she made a guest appearance or something on one of the iljimae's. I've never actually seen her act, so I don't really have an opinion on that matter yet.
I've heard about Shin Se Kyung alot lately, but I've never seen her act either, lol, so I guess my personal dara bias wins out lol.

Either way, whoever is cast for the role, whether it be Sandara Park, Shin SeKyung or anyone else for that matter, I'm still looking forward to Lee SeungGi's next drama appearance <3.

While I LOVE all of the Hong sisters' dramas (except Fantasy Couple which is still on my "to watch" list), I will be very turned off from it if Shin Se-kyung or Sandara Park is cast as the lead.

Shin Se-kyung seemed so...bland in HKTTR. Could've been her character but the whole time she seemed to be such a one dimensional character who always had the same expression.

I'm not exactly a fan of 2NE1 (more like, not at all) and eh. No thanks. She doesn't seem right for the role.

MCW wouldn't be the BEST for it but she seems to be the best of the three.

However, i AM a huge fan of LSG so that's exciting.

Sorry for the overboard fangirlyness but I really couldn't hold this one in. PERFECT combination. Really loved him in BL. For some reason I don't really like MCW...though her acting is undoubtedly amazing, she just seems to suit as a second female lead. That is just my perception though, after all none of us have seen her in anything but as a second lead. Still, rooting for SSK!

I'd definitely pick Shin Se Kyung. If the leading female were Moon Geun Young or Sandara Park, I will not watch no matter how much I like LSG. MGY is not foxy material anyways and Dara overacts.

I'm ok with any female lead as long as she can act! Haven't seen SSK's acting but have heard rather good comments about her. Totally love MCW! She's a really beautiful and amazing actress (have watched her in BL and POTW). LMJ will be a nice choice too! Her image (cheerful, unpredictable, and healthily gorgeous) does fit the character very well.
