QSD could not end with Chunchu beiing crowned king because in the history of Korea queen jindeok reigned after seondeok.

I love yushin! I really admire him.His love is selfless and unconditional.Maybe Deokman loved Bidam but then there will always be a space in her heart only meant for Yushin.

I love alcheon.He's so cool and loyal. And of course I also love Yushin, very strict and disciplined.I would really prefer his type of guy. I even researched Uhm Tae Woong.I love his acting.

Queen Seon-Deok really had the potential to be a grand piece of work - the first episodes were filled with that magic powerful enough to captivate any audience. However, I do concur that the drama got weaker after Lady Mishil left - I felt that there weren't enough episodes to show how much of a ruler Queen Seon-Deok was. Hell, the first 50 episodes were entirely devoted to Deokman's conflict with Mishil - not that I mind, mind you. :)

As for the Bidam-Deokman love team, I thought it was sweet but you do end up wondering why on earth did Deokman suddenly love him. It was quite confusing. This highlights what is probably the most frustrating thing about Queen Seon-Deok - that what defined the episodes is not the lead character but two of the main cast - which are Mishil for the first fifty and Bidam for the last twelve. I mean, yes Deokman was bright and all but where would she be without Mishil? The first fifty episodes portrayed how Deokman learned the most from Mishil and her conflict with the said character. The last twelve portrayed how Deokman is pushed into a corner because of her "love" for Bidam.

Personally, I understand why the writers changed the plot but it's frustrating to think that such change led to a degradation in the quality of the story. However, I can truly say that I did really enjoy the drama.

I always look after what will will happen next, because there is something in QSD that we can not predict what will next...and also i enjoy more because of their story line love affair. being princess the decision he made could be burden but she really think how difficult to a Queen???

'since the very beginning of the show until now, i've always been watching this show in gma primetime. But i have already watched the ending sa dvd and it was so tragic. Nakakaawa si bidam as well as deokman...Very in love sila with each other but that love was used by the people around them just to have the throne...... Nakakalungkot talaga... Sana maiba iyong ending... but super nice movie!!!!!!

I REALLY LIKE THE CHARACTERS MOSTLY THE TWINSISTERS

Here in the Philippines it is shown in GMA7 and the episodes are sooo dragging, too slow and it feels like watching the QSD-Mishil battle all over again, with Bidam emerging as a traitor.... when I read the comments in here I feel so sad.

I'd been wishing for a HAPPY ENDING but it seems like it will never happen. I wonder why if QSD will be able to succeed in achieving the unity of 4-penninsulas the "dream of the kings". Cause if not then all the sacrifices of Deokman will gone for naught. So sad.

I love this drama, every character of it and the portrayal made by its casts was just fantastic.

I love and despise Lady Mishil (the character) and I truly commend the actor for giving such brilliant personification of Lady Mishil. She is one heck of a POWER-HUNGRY worthy villain and shown different types of emotions. Anger, Rebellion, Love, Psssion, Perseverance, Wit and Nobility. I really want her to die but when she did died her dream goes on with Bidam, I'm soooo mad with Lady Mishil's dying lines to Bidam.

I love the character of Deokman, I love the young kid Deokman, the princess and the Queen. She is such a STROND WILLED girl who wishes nothing but wellness of the people she love and for the love of country, it is superb. I love Lee Yo Won just like the actor of Mishil they are one heck of a combo. Young, naive, learning, perseveres, determined, passionate, sacrificial and loving. I really super duper love the character.

I love and miss the character of the Princess Chun Myung (oh she died too early).

I like the PROTAGONISTS and hate ANATAGONISTS with all my might all the characters of this drama, the writers made such a great stroyline to everyone of them, from QSD down to the Nandos (supporting roles), truly amazing!!!!

Reading the comments "RandomTouristX - Dec 23, 2009 at 9:20 am" I felt a bit sad, how come a Drama be sooo tragic. I think Queen Seon Deok deserves a better ending too bad the wirters thought opposite. I haven't watched the 55-62 episode but I guess your right they (writers) should have ended the life of the QUEEN as an inspiration, they should have given this drama a better ending something that the viewing people will left with a line that "Oh! Life is so good" and not with a very depressing miserable ending. Deokman's life had been soooo miserable and tragic from start to finish.

Having said that I still congratulate all the people behind this TV-novela, such a joy to watch and educating, how politics, history and love can roll into one big production. Such a masterpiece indeed!!!!

I'm looking forward for another BIG Historic-genre Korean Drama, I'm hoping that next time the ending will be VICTORIOUS and worth SMILING.

I had to make my comment clear, the post-Mishil's episodes were kinda dragging and too slow unlike the first 50 episodes. It is really bad to read spoilers cause you will always look forward for the day that you'll see it right before your eyes and in my case it is happenning.

Too bad that QSD-Bidam-Yoo Shin had to go through tougher roads. Kim Nam Gil is such a brilliant actor, and the charcter of Bidam is soooo wicked it got different personas and the show is now forcing me to hate Bidam, what sickening love he had, so envious and selfish.

Sayang (sighs) one such great drama would not have HAPPY ENDING, I'd been wishing that spoilers are bogus but now it looks like its true, a great drama with a tragic ending huhuhu (cries). = (

Got so sad of Qsd's ending. Apart from the rest who commented here, I'm more of a deokman-yushin fan. I shed a lot of tears when yushin got married to youngmo because the kind of love yushin had for deokman is more of a selfless and pure love, not like the selfish love bidam is offering to the queen. More so, deokman and yushin went through a lot of struggles so i think they are more desrving for each other. But the Sa Geuk as a whole was a blast! Congrats to the cast and crew for a job well done! ALL HAIL QUEEN SEON DEOK! =)

the ost is so breathtaking, it gives me the creeps, specifically Windflower by IU. I super love it! Reminds me of Yushin and Deokman's love for each other.

Have just finished watching the last episode. Sad ending, but I have shed more tears, at the quarter,when YUshin hug DM , and told her not to leave, also at the Gaya camp, their last hug and YS got married. It would be great at the end, if YS could DM's hand and called her by DM.

QSD just finished airing its replay episode in the Philippines via Teleasia filipino. So sad bidam has to die, cant get over it, deokman shouldve married him when mishil died or bidam shouldve stayed in chua when the queen will take down the crown so they can live happily together, or bidam shouldve went to the queen upon lknowing that the queen wants him dead (yomjong plans) and confirm the truth, maybe in the afterlife where they can be reunited, bidams love is pure. Nevertheless, great acting from all of the cast, and commends lee yo won and kim nam gils acting prowess

i want to see bidam more battle scenes and become king and then marry deokman.bidam rules and conqure all.bidam was actual king jingji son btw so bidam should be king already.the script anyhow plot.ending for mishil is stupid no battle and commit suicide and this show ending for bidam is the same commit suicide.y cant they show battle scene they being capture or surrender.this is ridiculous sick both commit suicide hardcore scriptwriter.i hate that sicko sciptwraiter forever.

oh dia i must say QSD is one of my favourate historical drama.and al the charactors were amazing especialy bidam ,deaokman and mishil plus the costumes wow.
