Wow. JGS sure knows how to play the game well.

The good actors are always too humble.

But I understand the enormous pressure he is under to deliver. So I'm glad that he, and the whole cast, got a lot of vocal support and kind gestures from the YB fans. Ratings don't always speak for themselves.

It would be nice if the series were 20 episodes and managed to keep the quality up. But I'll gladly take 16 eps if that means the show doesn't meander at the end. Strong start, strong finish!

What a way to start my morning to see these picts. I do find it interesting that MiNam is more of a boy than TK's character though I have to say his style is growing on me,

This is how addicted I've become: I got up at 6:30 this morning to watch YB live via Livestation (thanks to whoever put up the link earlier). But I calculated the time difference wrong and had to wait an hour. That was a very sad moment.

I really do like watching without subtitles even if I only get the general gist (I can recognize more words now though although they are mainly single-syllable stuff (go! but! why? what? eh? -- also I'm sorry, which comes up a lot in this drama, and I'm alright, and thank you)). It's nice when a word is based on the English word or an English word is used (though it gives me fake transcendent moments when I think I'm really understanding Korean, then I realize no, that was English). I'm not sure it's a trend I'll continue with other dramas, though. But fun in this moment.

Can I say again how much I just love the manager? He's a scream. Does a nice little butt wiggle, too.

The Fake Fairy needs to be smacked very hard. I no longer wish her to be rehabilitated. She must go. In a most humiliating way.

That first picture of Jang Geun-Seok is pretty funny...his smile is a bit forced and look at the strain in his neck. LOL. He must be pretty tired, along with the rest of the cast and crew. Hope they can keep up their efforts until the end of the drama!

you should do a poll, dramabeans. how many people here actually LIVE in korea and can watch these episodes live on television sets and actually affect the show's ratings?

unless the ratings are affected by internet viewership (if so, how??), there really isn't much us international viewers CAN do when it comes to ratings, right? we even still have to wait days for subs. i mean, i can support the actors, but it's all up to viewers in korea, isn't it?

high ratings = more ads = more money to keep the show going. that's the way it goes.

I love the manager, too. I have been meaning to to give a shout out to him and I am glad you did. Just everyone's so likable in this drama. It's great to spend time with them.

I have to say it again.....I love JGS's hair. It's become his trademark. And that top? I think I will forever think of JGS when ever I see tops like that. It's so great how he's made it his own.

YOU GUYS ARE GREAT BY PULLING TOGETHER AND OF COURSE WE WILL LET THEM KNOW THAT WE DO APPRECIATE THEIR WORK AND THEIR EFFORT. THIS DRAMA IS THE VERY BEST I HAVE SEEN FROM WRITING TO THE ACTORS GREAT WORK ALL THE WAY. LOOKING FORWARD TO THE CONTINUATION OF THE STORY.

The 26th will be a sad day; I will miss YAB but seeing the works of the Hong sisters before, this probably doesn't need to go over 16 episodes and it will work out nicely. I still think though, after watching BOF earlier this year, that filming an two episodes a week before they air isn't exactly the right way to go about making a drama, but I guess it makes it easier to cut down on production when ratings start to go down or vice-versa.

I am not sure if writing something like that and knowing the fan base you have is connnivvvinng or not but oh well. Cookie points to Jang Geun-seok for being a sneeky smarty XD

Hehe...I guess you girls like "little boy" with a bun on the head, and golden hair Asian guys who suffered from identity disillusion!! I coined them as having serious "anti-social behavior" who failed to instill proper social values for their relatively young fans. They have tried to immitate the West, but copied the worst values from the West, which make them look like a bunch of idiots!! :P

IrishCream, to find Mi Nami on FB don't use the "group" filter because it won't show up. Do a "people search" instead. As the YAB poster is used for the profile image, you should be able to identify the "right" Mi Nami quite easily.

Okay. I've started watching You're Beautiful and I absolutely adore it. Seriously... it's fabulous and suffice it to say if I could understand Korean fluently, I'd find a way to watch it fresh.

Kudos to Jang Geun-seok for bein a sneaky booger and buoying fan support. Another confession... I think Jang Geun-seok is a tasty snack. I'm 5 years older than him, but yes... and I love his speaking voice. And his eyes. Tasty snack indeed. :)

Yes, we do like them A LOT. At least, these little boys with a bun on their head are not hounding after a bunch of big boobies as the boys of the West are. They are only chasing after love. I guess these little boys are not really copying the worst values from the West after all. Surely, they are a bunch of hot and cute boys. What can we do? Just love them all.

Just a suggestion for those taking part in the Overseas Fan project.

I think if you can find a way to include something that can identify your country in the photo, it will make the collection of photos more impressive. Especially for those who live in America or European countries, I think Koreans still have an aspirational fantasy about all things western, so it will be very encouraging for them to see support from viewers of these countries.

Maybe something like a flag, some local food, a mascot? :)

You're not alone. I'm reluctantly but freakishy addicted as well. In Singapore, we are one hour ahead of Korea. I actually started GIGGLING and SMILING to myself when it was 8.55pm because I knew that simultaneously in Korea, the A.N.Jell members have graced the TV screens once again .. although in another part of the world.

I never knew men who were total strangers in another part of the world could have such a hold on me :D

Jang geum sshi is one of my fave K actors and i don't really think the reason for lower rating is his responsibility....it cld be the storyline? i dunno coz i just saw epis 1 and stopped watching as i kinda lost interest when i had a glimpse of what the genre wld be ala CP...the gal dresses like a guy coz of her twin brod! it's sad coz i was looking f/ward to seeing JGS again after liking him in Beethoven Virus! I still like him in spite of this drama!

i hope it's extended to 20. i will miss it.
