Han Ji-hye models her shoe brand
by javabeans
Earlier this year, actress Han Ji-hye announced she would be designing a line of shoes with designer Jinny Kim, aptly called “H by JINNY KIM.” Soon her designs will be available for sale as part of the brand’s Fall/Winter collection; Han also models her own designs in the catalog.
Han Ji-hye said, “To match the feel of autumn, I wanted to show designs that aren’t too flashy but comfortable and give off a subtle, calm feeling.”
The styles range from “Retro ’80s” to “Rock Chic” and “Sexy Glam,” and emphasize a basic, classic feel while still being trendy. Back in August, the line received its first export orders to sell at a well-known department store in Singapore. The Fall/Winter collection will be sold in major department stores in Seoul and the surrounding metro areas, as well as at various online shopping malls.
Han Ji-hye’s next acting role comes in the Lee Jun-ik film Like The Moon Escapes From Clouds, which stars Cha Seung-won and Hwang Jung-min and begins filming next month.

@pixie exactly what i was thinking. I thought it would be something new at least a twist on something new, but hey at least they know for sure it'll sell... who doesn't love boots..

As an owner of beautiful black suede knee high boots. . .I have to say I've only worn them a handful of times. I bought them 4 years ago (and they still look great) but every time I wear them I always get looks. It's a bit dramatic.
It is really nice to pair off with a short floaty feminine dress, kind of mix of that scandalous and sweet look. Top it off with a cropped leather jacket, and you're badass.

"It’s a bit dramatic"
That's my first thought, knee-high boots are the epitome of flashy (probably second to sparkly 5 inch stripper heels). Just kidding! But those boots are pretty fierce (work it!) and look great on her long legs. Sigh, I'm so jealous, but her designs are very nice. Hope the shoes are comfortable as well.

I dont think I can handle it though... ill be too conscious that would probably tripped over something!

I am a boots person and they are all I wear all year around except in summer . But I really don't care for the over the knee ones. Makes me think of hookers a la Julia Roberts in Pretty Women. Just below the knees is great but not over the knees. It's too dramatic, too Puss In Boots.

I love boots especially the ones at Nine West and wear them often.
@mishane
I think it's only in the US that I get the 'look' when I wear my high boots or pair them with skirts/dresses. I tried that in HK and no 'look'. I think Asians are somehow more into fashion/trend and so are not 'shocked' with that look. This goes for other current fashion/trend. Or am I way off in my observation?
