Park Shin-hye is Jang Geun-seok’s girl in You’re Beautiful

Jang Geun-seok has found his love interest for the Hong sisters idol-star drama You’re Beautiful [미남이시네요], and it’s 19-year-old Park Shin-hye (Radish Kimchi and Goong S).
The plot traces the growth and development of teenage aspiring pop stars as they are trained in idol groups. Jang’s character is a simple country boy who begins his life as an idol group member, while Park Shin-hye stretches her acting muscles playing two parts (twins), one (or both??) of whom falls for Jang Geun-seok.
This isn’t the first time Jang and Park have worked together; they’ve even shared an onscreen kiss before, in a CF for Etude House (watch CF below).
In addition to the Hong sisters writing team (Hong Gil Dong, My Girl), directing is PD Hong Sung-chang of Smile Again. I haven’t seen Smile Again — I tend to stay as far away from Kim Hee-sun dramas as I can — so I can’t weigh in on that, but I have enjoyed all four of the Hong sisters’ series thus far, even if it’s been in descending order. According to PD Hong (and as we can guess from the writing team’s history), the drama will be “bright and upbeat.”
I think Park Shin-hye has been uneven but is pretty likable; she caught viewers’ attention as a 13-year-old in Stairway to Heaven and later in Heaven’s Tree at 16. She kinda sucked in Goong S, but was better in her follow-up, Radish Kimchi. She and Jang Geun-seok are two former child actors who have made the transition into adult roles fairly gracefully.
You’re Beautiful will air on SBS on Wednesdays and Thursdays in October.

PSH and JGS really have a very good chemistry...
the CF was hot, hot, hot (fans oneself)...
of course one shouldn't expect PSH to act/be so passionate in that CF (JGS' moves are enough
already kekeke) otherwise, it will not be
for general patronage anymore...
YAB is a must watch drama for it allows you to laugh and cry at the same time. Love the OST and of course the actors really worked hard and well with each other. It is not something that deserves an artistic award but the drama surely has commercial value and fans of the 4 actors won't be disappointed.

i love her. i watched behind the scenes of YAB. And I think she's bubbly, conservative-type, caring and fun-to-be with (because she's at ease with the 3 guys). they get along really well. i read in an interview with JGS that she's caring because she cooked their food while they were shooting in Japan. He has a lot of praises for her. And his mother likes PSH a lot. Mothers know best. So I believe, his mother sees the inner beauty of PSH just like me. :-)

Park Shin Hye and Jan Geon-seuk were...indescribable in this drama. I recommend you see the behind the scenes on YouTube, too; you get a great feel for the chemistry between all the main actors (Btw Hong Ki as Jeremy was a genius choice!) Just altogether an outstanding masterpiece.
...No. It was really out-standing outstanding!
Basically, "You're Beautiful" is the first drama I've ever watched, and it will be tattoed on my heart forever. Best film ever made, in my opinion.
Also, all you haters' irrational hatred and jumped conclusions against Shin Hye will surely disapate, after you see the hard work she puts into this drama. It's truly remarkable.

I want to see more of you two, my favorite actors ever and for all time!
(And I'm not joking when I say that. As a fan, I think about you guys all the time, instead of listening to my teachers' lectures...Even if I fail that test, it's totally worth it! Because your drama really helped me through a tough time. Thank. Domo. Arigatou...Don't know Korean. Ah, well.)

i had so much fun reading all the previous harsh comments about shin hye before this series was shown.im sure lots of people have to eat their words eh.lol im so happy i was able to watch this great series becavse i came to know two amazing stars wi+h such great chemistry ,geun suk and shin hye.im a fan now and i am looking forward to their individual projects.im hoping someday they will work together again
