With this recent flood of love in the k-celeb scene, it is refreshing that celebs can be open about actually you know..... having a life. The only question I have is why the sudden rush - ie time between announcements to wedding? Is this a cultural ie korean custom? Or just a celeb thing? LOL

Well at least with the wedding a little over a month away - perhaps it gives less of chance of major bridezilla/groomzilla happening.

My wife, completely independently of you guys, also calls Lee Sun Gyoon "Mr. Voice." I think its his "thing," his basso voce. In Coffee Prince, I respected his acting quite a bit. You guys remember the scene in Coffee Prince where he pulls off the side of the road on the way to the airport?

What an ensemble cast for Coffee Prince, wasn't it? The best overall acting (consistently high, by just about everyone) I've seen in a series.

I don't spend much time gawking at pretty pictures of people, even back before I was married. And certainly, I didn't spend much time at all looking at pics of korean guys. But lately, I've been spending more time looking at both the women and the men of K-drama universe. Why??? I don't know exactly? I'm not a crazy teenager trying to "be" like the next pop star, but I guess on some level, it matters to me? That's why sports fans (of all ages) wear jerseys, that's why fans dress similarly to their pop stars, etc. I think it boils down to an unconscious desire to be part of their world, the fab world populated by these fab people.

I liked Gong Yoo's acting quite a bit, but I didn't think he was that attractive in Coffee Prince. But even "I" have to give props to Gong Yoo for his body sculpting in the above pic. Rough estimate? 8% body fat...

I just read the Chinese press. Apparently Lee is going to be a father in December. After the KSW experience (where he denied the pregnancy before marriage), Lee decided that he didn't want to lie about the pregnancy. He also wants to accompany his girlfriend to doctor's visits, so he had to come out clean about the pregnancy. I was wondering why it has taken him 6 years to propose to his girlfriend. Now we know the answer.
