For some reason, I feel so relieved that Monday is canceled, and I almost wanted the entire week to be off. Compared to the first 4-5 episodes, the rest have been incredibly shoddy. All the actors SHOW their exhaustion under their eyes, and Jandi has been absent. I don't know if GHS is an accomplished actress or not, but the horrifying lack of complex emotions that need to flit across her face during crucial scenes tells me that either she is a lousy actress or is so exhausted, she cannot muster the strength to bring emotions out anymore.

Hoping for better episodes--along the style of the first few that so captured my heart.

GHS is a good actress, whether tired or not she still did a great job. It's a sad that this accident had to happen for the cast and actors to get some much needed rest. Hopefully this is something to be learned from and more precautionary will be taken.

Kim Hyun Joong (Ji-Hoo) went and visited her in the hospital right after the Baeksang award. According to news reports he was the first and only cast member to visit so far. He rushed to her side after receiving his award. Lee Min Ho had to head to the shoot to do his scenes, hopefully he'll make his way to the hospital too.

Why are most K-drama's filmed while the drama is airing? Wouldn't it be better to film at least like half of the episodes ahead of time so that they aren't stressing and killing off the actors? Or do they want to be able to change stuff based on ratings and criticism?

Are K drivers particularly aggressive or oblivious? If anyone's watched "What's Up Fox (i think)", there's an ep where the female lead is worried sick because she thinks the male lead is in a motorcycle crash. To use accidents as a plot device is standard, but is there an overreliance in K dramas? Anyway, yeah, everyone deserves a break and I hope the actors of BBF can rejuvenate. Poor chaps/dears, they were definitely flagging in Ep 16!

Ha...ha lol @ ur twitter comment. Yeah the managers are IDIOTS for not hiring professional drivers and for making the cast work way too much. At least they'll have better rest this time and Go Hye Sun will be able to get some good needed healing time.

Lee Min Ho also visited GHS at the hospital. In fact, he came upon the accident and took GHS to the hospital and THEN he went to the awards ceremony. He must have been so frazzled by all this. Really, it is bordering on absurd how much pressure these actors are under. I don't know--I feel like I am cracking under their pressure (tee hee :-)).

I think all of the main actors has had at least one car accident now, except for Kim Joon (Woo Bin) and Kim Bum has had two.... O_o
Honestly they should hire better and professional drivers for the safety of these actors and tmangers themselves. Obviously, the managers who drive the car are also tired so they are not gonna focus on the road and then you add the crazy drivers and traffic in asia..
I will pray for the cast and hope no one else gets into anymore accidents. At least one good thing came out of it, all of the actors can get some decent rest and maybe the producers and managers might finally come to the sense that THEY NEED BETTER DRIVERS!

SO many snarky comments. A hailstorm of snarky comments... especially at the absolute gall and audacity of the Group 8 CEO saying how much he cares about the welfare of the actors. God, that deserved a cream pie in the face and a kick in the ass...

Oh, for f**k's sake, not another accident... there's gotta be some really bad mojo, some really gnarly ju-ju going on here... spells, curses, hexes, evil-eyes (I KNEW Mama Kang is a REAL witch!), it all seems to be heaped upon our heroes.. What the hell's going on!?

But for those of us who aren't superstitious or conspiracy nuts, the answer is obvious: The PD, Group 8, and all the suits and people-with-titles need to calm the f**k down, chill out, loosen up, and wake up & smell the coffee (or burnt rubber) Things can't continue the way they have been going so far. If your approach, your schedule, your system is causing such things to happen, CHANGE IT. Without any actors, they have NO SHOW, and nothing from which to reap the incentives and benefits, which I am sure they are.

Listen here, Mr. Big Boss Man. Your actors ARE your show. If they are the biggest stars in Korea right now, my god, let them breathe at least, let them rest, give them drivers, a taxi, something... carry them home on your back if you have to. Just keep them out of harm's way. They are your bread and butter, but more importantly, they are HUMAN BEINGS, not wind up toys or living posters.

I really do hope GHS gets better very soon, and is happy, and healthy, and in high spirits and well rested The same for the rest of the cast... But, how many more lessons before the suits learn? Would it take a serious tragedy for them to realise the error of their ways? Should a break-neck schedule really have to live up to its name?

p.s. I am looking forward to the "F4 Talk Show" though... something different...

either they will reedit so that all the supposed monday-now tuesday eps will contain better cliffhangers (coz monday cliffhangers are usually lame, they just help build the overall story and awesomeness of tuesday eps) OR they will air one more special next week to accompany epi 18 next week so that the consecutive eps will still follow the monday-tuesday trend :)

accidents in korea seem to be quite common isn't it? all that accidents that happened to BBF cast, and I rem there was this actor who acted in Coffee prince who died an instant death when he was on his motorbike? That was damn sad... Loved his goofy acting in coffee prince (sobs) hope this sorta thing won't happen again.. Filming is impt.. but I think they should still prioritise safety... I rather watch one ep per week, than have some actor get into serious trouble..

isn't it a bit strange? why is it that everyone has been involved in an accident. I mean, after Kim Hyun Joong, Kim Joon, and Kim Bum (twice), here's Gu Hye Sun being injured. Who's next? Lee Min Ho?? Are we going to count his trip in the red carpet of the 45th Baeksang Awards? Oh gosh, I dont want to think that they are cursed or something.. but is it really dangerous to drive in Korea? Or the drivers are just dumb? Oh come on.. if they won't take care of themselves, they might end up dying in a hospital bed and I don't want that to happen. I think that they will air another special since, if they are going to air Ep. 17 on Tuesday, then the series will end on a Monday (Episode 24: March 30). So expect that there will be an another special to be aired in the next few days, unless their proposal for a 2-episode extension (26 episodes) will be approved.

If I'm not wrong, I think they showed a picture of the smashed vehicle that GHS was in on the F4 special - she's really fortunate to escape with only stitches on the lips! Poor girl - hope the wound heals well..before they pile on the make-up. Counting down the agonizing minutes to ep17!

The silver lining out of this is that maybe the actors will finally get some rest!! Everyone looks so tired and have huge bags under their eyes!!

I read from somewhere that LMH(GJP ^^) was also at the scene of the accident
and came to rescue GHS(GJD ^^). I read in the reports where she mentioned that she was thankful to LMH for finding her or injuries would have taken longer to heal. This was also the night of the Baeksang Awards(i believe) where the F4 were invited. LMH took her to the hospital then went off to the award ceremony where he was all giddy and clumsy that he tripped xD. Anyway, he won BEST NEW ACTOR, while KHJ won the POPULARITY award. Then those two sweeties soon left afterwards to visit GHS at the hospital.

My hunch is that everybody (not just the cast) are badly, badly overworked. That includes their drivers. With all the location shoots, elaborate sets, and attention to clothes and grooming, it's like a sageuk production.

Odd thing is where the damage is on the van. What did it hit for the top part to be crushed in? And in the special, Kim Hyun-joong looked so much more exhausted than the other 3. Almost to the point of looking sickly which makeup couldn't cover.
