I actually think that second pic of her brings some relief. The pics you posted before she didn't even look prego, now she actually has a belly. She looks very pretty.

Pregnant women always look beautiful. They get this glow. Their skin gets so radiant. I hope the baby gets her eyes.

she's pretty skinny...lucky b*tch! :P but a few of my really good girlfriends were skinny pregnant woman too with small bellies and their babies were all healthy.

I'm so glad that it's not just me who looks at these photos and is concerned. I'm eight months pregnant myself, and I don't look like that, and I'm really glad for it. My co-worker, who was actually doing her best to not gain any weight during her first pregnancy, was sat down by her doctor to have a very serious conversation about necessary weight gain and its correlation to a healthy, full-term baby. I mean, every woman is built differently and thus carries differently, so it could just be that Sohn Tae-young is super-petite in person, and we're seeing her as big as she was meant to get. But when young women look at photos like this and assume that this is what a typical pregnancy looks like--or *should* look like--that's what worries me. I don't entirely buy into the "pregorexia" hype, but I do think that there is too much emphasis placed on being slim or svelte during one's pregnancy, which is one time in your life when that should so NOT be a priority and could even prove detrimental.

I agree with gyengao. If STY wanted to capture her pregnancy in it's last stages, then she should have handed the camera to her husband. Young girls will look at all that glamour and try to emulate it. But, whatever. She does look stunning, but I hope that she's not that vain to put her looks over her baby's health.

For the record I know several women who didn't gain much weight during their pregnancies and none of them were trying to "stay thin."

Some women simply don't gain that much fat.

Wow - she looks SO good at 8 months. Just b/c it looks like she hasn't gained a lot of weight, does not mean that the baby won't be healthy. Actually - babies in the womb gain most of their weight in the last 4 weeks of pregnancy - week 37-40 (if you make it that far). About 1/2 pound or more per week. So even if the baby is 5 lbs at 8 months, could be 7+ lbs at birth. One of my friends, also Korean, she did not look like she was showing much at all at 8+ months - and her baby was 8+ lbs at birth and now in 95% percentile for height & weight at just a few months old. So it's hard to tell by just looking. Even a small baby at birth can gain a lot of weight after they are born. No reason to worry. =)

Preggo glow is great- good skin & hair... that all goes away after birth. but the boobs get much bigger LOL.

She looks wonderful *__*. And I don't think at all she's too skinny. I didn't gain much weight during my pregnancy. Yes I was such a "skinny pregnant woman", too. It's offending that other ppl think we wouldn't feed our babies.

Hello people...there are skinny people in the world...not everyone looks like a fat cow when they're pregnant...and her baby will probably be a normal birth weight. Just because she is skinny does not mean she isn't healthy...is 250 pounds healthy? I don't think so...she looks beautiful!
