Can you spot the future F4 heartthrob?

The honeys of the uber-popular Boys Before Flowers have been shown to be master athletes (snerk) at everything from racecars, ice hockey, rugby, swimming, horseback riding, and kayaking — but apparently one of them was also quite the gifted soccer player in his childhood.
We’ve already seen what these boys looked like in high school. Can you guess which one he is, here in the third grade?
(Hint: He’s the one sticking out his tongue.)
Another hint: here he is with his soccer coach (famed soccer manager and former national player Cha Bum-kun) and mom.
It’s Lee Min-ho!
According to his mother, who gave a recent interview, Lee Min-ho dreamed of being a soccer player when he was younger, and trained for four years with the famous Cha Bum-kun.
(Wikipedia says: “Cha is hailed as a national hero for his accomplishments in the Bundesliga and the South Korean national team. He was given the title Asia’s Player of the Century by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics. He is the all time leading goal scorer for the South Korean National team.”)
Lee got his start when his mother worried that he was physically weak as a kid and, based on a friend’s recommendation, sent Min-ho to soccer lessons with Cha. He displayed strong enough talent at the sport that he even planned at one point to enroll at a middle school where he could specialize in soccer. At the time, Cha had said that Min-ho had fast feet and the talent to be a soccer player, and encouraged Mom to keep Min-ho at the sport.
However, his intentions fizzled after he was sidelined after breaking his arm in a match. Mom explains, “Min-ho sometimes says even now, ‘If I become famous, I’d like to go see coach Cha Bum-kun one of these days.”
Also, I remember reading comments from a few (very observant!) fans that Lee Min-ho seems to be ambidextrous; his mother explains that after breaking his right arm, he learned to use his left, and can still write and draw with both hands.

I noticed the ambidextrous thing. I'm left handed so its a quirk of mine to find other lefties out there. I always check and am often disappointed:) But in this drama there have been many times that I thought, "Oh he's left handed!" (These small discovers always excite me.) Hmph. I'm rather simple, eh?

haha I spotted him too. I didn't know he played soccer. I guess that explains why I would see him playing the sport (so well) in BOF and Run Mackarel. Or maybe that's just a coincidence.

scoreee! i actually guessed right. lolz. he was such a cute child and his mom is super pretty too.
it's always interesting to find out what else actors were/are into and good at BESIDES acting. i feel like i always think that acting is the only thing that they're good at and that's why they're actors that i totally disregard the fact that they could be good at or passionate about anything else.

I thought it was Lee Min-ho based on the eyebrows, haha. I can see where he got his good looks from. It's really cute how his postures look the same as it did 13 years ago (or it could just be me seeing things). And darn, here I thought he was left-handed like me! Oh, well. He's still smokin' hot.

i kinda feel sad reading this news. LMH surely got a lot of bad experiences. he's ambidextrous bcoz of his once broken arm. and now i'm thinking if he can ever play soccer anymore with his current leg situation =(
maybe thats y i can see how committed he is in acting. hope he will continue to rise as an actor. i love his acting n his potrayal of junpyo. his expressions are priceless. really,for me, he's the real jewel of BOF.
just one thing, his fame is skyrocketting right now. too much like a dream. hope he will never be arrogant.
i cant wait to see more BOF eps. this drama is addicting. n i cant wait to see more dramas from him too. wanna see him in a different character.
