I would like the words of this drama could be so sharp and penetrating as to minimize my mental breaks.

I hope that the new group will have as much fun with it as the previous one seemed to. I enjoyed the Lee Jun Ki "Iljamie" until it fell apart at the end and left us all wondering why we lived in hope for so long with these people only be left saddened and bewildered by a climax that appeared to satisfy no one. Maybe they'll get it right this time.

I don't know that I'm familiar with the principals of this cast, but they look suitably impressive in their costumes. Let's all wish them and we, the viewers, the best of luck.

You know, I actually didn't like the production work for the SBS Iljimae. Much of the night sequences looked done in a sound stage. It just didn't look like something that a production team would spend almost 6 months filming.

Because this is Group 8, I'm really looking forward to the production/visuals for Return of Iljimae. It should be able to match Goong S in the look. Also, it's cool to see dashing Kim Ming Jong do a fusion show.

my initial reaction to this whole iljimae mania:
psh. i prefer LJK over "that" JIL.
cause i've seen LJK act, and "that other guy" not so much.
so there's no doubt LJK's version will be better.

*but it also depends if this drama's worth eating my words back though too! :p

and another thing too, both of them slimmed down for their roles right?
except that, the slim version works so much better on JIL, in my opinion.
so, so, much better :p

Because the SBS Iljimae (aka Sageuk Batman!) was very little like the canon Ilimae, this will be practically a different show and story. Also, it'll probably a more straightforward sageuk, less overtly fusion-y compared to Iljimae and HGD. Perhaps more like Damo.

I can't wait to watch this version of Iljimae. I love LJK in this role but I'm very curious about the JIL interpretion.

I just gotta say this: INTERESTING boots (on the guys) XD It'll be a lot of fun if those appear in the drama as well! *hehe* Though still a ton better than Lee Jun Ki's metalmask in his Iljimae-version...

I don`t know why but judging from the pictures, the girls seem a bit older than iljimae(JIL), but interesting to see how this one turns out

I'm bored to listen bad comments about this drama..
I hate whenever people claim that "LJK's Iljimae is the best " and won't watch this drama because they say no one is deserved to act as Iljimae besides Jun Ki.. I just think Junki's act in Iljimae is not that good...Sorry, i have to say the truth..After all, they don't even watch this drama (which made based on the popular comic by Ko Woo Young).
So i'd like to say: "Beat Iljimae SBS and shows that The Return of Iljimae is deserved to be the best.."
Really loking forward to this version of Iljimae..I've seen the sneakpeak from this drama and JIW is trying his best.. I'll always support him..

i really want to see this, since i havent seen lee junki's iljimae, or any historical dramas of 2008, other than hong gil dong. I hope its as good as it looks like.

this has a different flavor which is nice though i personally like the SBS Iljimae better as a filmographer. The first ep of Return of Iljimae reminded me so much of Batman even the music was almost identical...its a good/just for fun drama..

well,almost all of the above seems really looking forward for this drama and thinking that its much better than the ILJIMAE.. sorry to say this guys but this drama has no match of lee jun ki's iljimae.. (in my opinion..)
i think it will be nice if they name the drama different for people just cant stop themselves comparing the two..
this drama is lame and no fun at all..
but just try to watch maybe you will like it...
