Open Thread #58

Another Friday, another Open Thread. Go nuts.

Anyone have a memorable week? Special weekend plans?

Edit: It’s that time of year again! If you’ve got a spare minute (or, okay, ten), please consider taking this >> Blog Reader Project survey << (You can skip questions.) Plus, just for kicks and giggles, once the survey is over you’ll get to see just who else is reading and all that nerdy statistical info. (Here are last year’s stats.)

Thanks!

It started off great when I aced a midterm, but then went straight downhill...I don't know if you would call a car accident memorable?

All I can say is... TGIF!!!

On the other hand it's def not TGIF for me as I have my finals on Monday...Wish I could turn back the clock and have a few more 'extra' Fridays before doomsday :)

nothing special for me this weekend. I'm just trying to mentally prepare myself for my pre-surgery appoiment with my doctor on Tuesday. I REALLY do not want to have surgery again, but it must be done. *sighs*

I watched ep 8 of Soulmate yesterday. OMG! *flails* That drama rocks! :))

Supernatural mid-season finale. Win or fail?

Off to take the survey

Nothing notably happy or memorable about this week. Quite depressing week actually.Only upside I can think of is snow.

Just took a look at the stats. Apparently a lot of Asians read this blog.

@Sere,

"I’m just trying to mentally prepare myself for my pre-surgery appoiment with my doctor on Tuesday."

Wow, I hope you're okay. What is the surgery for? :(

Project Runway Korea will be premiering in February! The host will be Lee Sora. I think she's actually a good, sensible choice for a host.

LOL! Some of those questions in the survey sure was tuned for residents in USA :P

My week has simply been busy: work and then 2 days of job fair plus one job interview~ On top of that I just got a cold...

This week-end I'll be meeting up with some friends, but I also need to do some case solving in preparation for another interview next week. It's not a very good time to be a recent graduate from college, but at least things are finally going somewhere (or so it seems). Anyway, I'm definitely going to get a lot of sleep!

I'm a bit horrified, but I haven't watched one drama episode for weeks now >_____< But luckily I can read all those delicious drama summaries here and other interesting tidbits from the Korean entertainment industry~ Just luv this blog~ Usually I don't care for blogs at all, but this is one big exception (gotta check at least once a day).

Am spending the weekend packing and moving, and then will move on to memorizing a few textbooks in the name of the Greater GPA God. Yay?

Will do the reader stat thing later - when is the deadline?

gosh... lve ur stories guys.. i can totally relate to those who r hving exams..

crazy week for me. second yr in college n im still a procrastinator. i was supposed to stop last yr but oh well..

i've been so distracted lately! It' s crazy.. I've never been like this, crazy over a guy. I mean I've liked a guy a lot but I usually get over them real quick.. But this one just aches my heart. Something happened between us and I can't seem to get over him. He seems like he's doing okay but I miss him like crazy.
School always go first for me but this guy has been occupying my mind for two weeks. so bad.. i feel like an idiot for not being able to forget him..
depressing. ironically, because of him, I've started to work out again, he's my motivation I guess.. omg so sad.. sorry, ill stop.

on a positive note, I got a job..:P on campus that will let me do some "real work" not just crappy ones.

ahh. so now im trying to get over this guy and trying to ge tback on track with my school work..ahh

I havent had any chance to watch any drama lately so that's a bit disappointing. But maybe being busy was good because I watched too many dramas in the past already anyways.

javabeans, if you dont mind answering- what year are you in college?

xoxo,
heartbroken

@Belleza
It's kind of a long story. To make it short, it's a reconstructive plastic surgery. I got very very sick last year and the operation I'm undergoing soonish is to uh improve the situation (scars for example). I won't ever be like I was before, but ...hopefully, I'll walk better soon. I know that was kind of vague, sorry, but...this site is very popular and I only know a bunch of regulars here...I'm still touchy about this topic. :(

Actually I just got back from watching Twilight and I was pleasantly surprised, I thought they actually did an excellent job. Edward's sparkle was a little odd, but other than that it was really good.

I have to take my car to the mechanics on Monday because it is giving out a strange buzzing sound even when the engine is off. Called my foreman already but he can't figure out what could be wrong...says it's not possible. Hm. Maybe my car is possessed? :P

Have being trying to finish a project that I've been procrastinating on. Can't wait to submit it next week and be done with it finally. Phew.

Other than that, anyone following the Davis Cup? I think they're gonna lose, but "Go Argies!" After this weekend, tennis season will be officially over!
