also me put a lot of hopes on The World They Live In... after watched the speical episode I think it's will be good drama "hop"...

Although I'm not hooked from any of the previews, I'm looking forward to checking out the first few episodes (or at the very least your impression of them).

I'm looking forward to this new drama, but it is true that it has some stiff compeition with East of Eden. I hope The World They Live In doesn't start off slow because a slow (and boring) start will make it hard to draw attention and viewers from EOE, which is picking up steam already.

i agree with Amelia -- they better have an excellent first episode, or else they'll really get overshadowed by EOE... since the latter is a triple threat...gorgeous actors, exciting plot, high production value...

hopefully there will be a good script to complement SHG & Hyunbin's star power...

I've watched the special, the drama storyline seems so fragile. But i will watch it for sure bcoz of hyun bin. The story really remind me of On Air.

if the drama didn't star hyun bin and song hye gyo i wouldn't have bothered paying attention to this at all. unfortunately the drama sounds really boring. :/

but on the other hand, hyun bin is looking pretty awesome!

I'm not a fan of On Air, it was like a tedious peacock trying too hard to impress....so to me this cant possibly be like it (I hope, no I'm sure).

But even if this disappoints, I still have Painter and MGY to droolz over. LOL

Nevertheless, I plan to start watching it right when subs are released. I mean, look at Hyun Bin. How could you not want to stare at that face for 16 hours?

sorry not intentionally rude but I did burst out when reading someone's interest on a drama will be waned coz of an actress' haircut.

hopefully this will be worth the hype =)
SHK and Hyun Bin are pretty solid actors but if the story sucks..viewers won't last long ='(

it will be another flop from KBS.
MBC recently is holding the #1 spot for their dramas on weekdays...
they reign on Mondays till Thursdays.

Hyun Bin has not broken the jinx of the success of Kim Sam Soon and SHG too.
this series will be another flop for both of them. their beautiful faces may not be able to compete with Tazza to say the least. if KBS wants to recover from their poor ratings on Mon-Tues slots they need to beat TAZZA first before wanting to beat EOE. if they cannot beat TAZZA what more EOE.

My early condolences to the THE WORLD THEY LIVE IN couple.
SPOTLIGHT was not successful in following the trend of ON AIR, and i can already smell disappointment for this series.

by the way BAD LOVE was also on Mon-Tues and it has Hallyu Star KSW who could not even save the series in competing with King and I and Lee San.

Yeah I can predict it wont do as well if strictly rating-wise too, who can beat that angst-y cry-fest plot-twist galore of EoE ?! but r dramas with high ratings = good stuff nowadays?!

My BEST kdrama out there now? Painter of the Wind. Is it highly rated?! Nope. Do ppl who appreciate seriously well done drama with a heart and soul freaken care one bit?! NOPE.

for its premier it only garnered 7%...i can smell FLOP in this series! the acting of SHG has not improved...BAD LOVE even premiered with 10%...
bet this series will end with 5% or below just like LOVE and MARRIAGE!

bet tomorrow the rating of this series will be on 5% already.
