Kim Haneul sings for On Air
by javabeans
Well, her On Air co-stars Park Yong Ha and Song Yoon Ah both have songs on the series soundtrack (see below), so now it’s Kim Haneul‘s turn. She’s showcasing her heretofore hidden singing abilities and recording a track to be released on the drama’s second OST.
She explained, “I’ve received so much love because of On Air, I wanted to repay that. This is my first time recording so I’m a little nervous.”
Is she any good, though? The music director thinks so, but we’ll get to form our own opinions when the disc, which contains ten tracks in all — Kim Haneul’s is entitled “Sky Love” — goes on sale tomorrow, April 29.

We'll find out tomorrow... I hope she actually has a voice.
I just have to say that some celebreties have to stick with singing or acting, because some of them can't sing or act or both sometimes... For example, Hannah Montanah, no offense to her or anything or her fans. I love her show, but I don't think she can sing. We'll see on her upcoming movie if she can actually act.
By the way, I love Kim Naheul. Her role in here is so different from all her other dramas!
Thanks!

Han Ji Hye is probably my favorite singer, and Lee Hyori is probably my favorite actress. Dang this SoCal heat wave is really messing with my head . . .
Something to be said to be multitalented. For example, ex-chef Alex of Clazziquai can serenade you and make you an Denver omelette at the same time. By the time the waffles are done, your clothes are already gone!

Don't get jealous girls: my guy is a trained cook and sings tenor :) I agree with belleza that it's a dangerous combination in a guy,
I think too many actors (men and women) who try to "expand" their career into singing end up stretching themselves thin. But I guess if they've got the money and time who's to say they can't? Unfortunately they get pulled into (or choose?) songs that are over-produced and come out looking like over polished fools gold: looks good enough to make you think it's of value.

-_- ee.. i'm cringing already.. but let's wait to hear if she actually has the pipes before we start throwing tomatoes..
LOL @ belleza... i haven't had the privilege of hearing han ji hye's glorious singing voice.. unless that's her in the opening credits of Mi-Go every episode? or the chance to witness lee hyori's formidable acting skills..
talk about the SoCal heat.. it's totally melting my brain.. & speaking of fool's gold.. my brother sent me a review of the movie.. it's supposedly about as compelling as a two hour long fart...

Her track is out already :) and as unexpected, her voice is actually kinda...cute. hehe.. well the song is cute too, but her voice fits pretty well. So I'm quite pleased... she did really well in On Air too. So yeah, remembering the judges from American Idol... it's all about picking THE right song keke...

If you look around, you can find him in the Rocky Horror Picture Show too. (Warning: VERY not work safe!! ~_^ )

javabeans, please post the song Kim Ha Neul sings, i want to hear it.
Oh Ji Ho sang for the Single Papa OST, i think he sounded pretty good, really passionate, but ok not great.
KJH sang for the Fireworks OST, but he had a background in musicals, i love that song.
Lee Ha Na and Ji Hyun Woo sang for Me Ri Dae Gu Attack & Defense Battle OST, they both sounded great, especially since they both are actually singers too.

I think Kim Ha Nael's voice was cute but its too thin? i should say
but i love Park Yong Ha's voice, he's an amazing singer and in Japan
he already won a golden disk music award since he's already recognized as
a true singer which is great news XD
also i love Song Yoon Ha's voice because its soooo nice and soothing!!
