What’s with all the babies?

Photographer Cho Seihon has unveiled his special photo spread featuring lots of top stars in his collection “Letters from Angels,” which is the fifth installment in the series begun in 2003 to raise awareness and support of domestic adoptions.
Cho said in regards to the aim of his photography, “I’d like for these photos to give someone one more chance to think about these children who have no homes. I also hope that many of these childrens will be able to find warm homes and happiness.”

The stars featured in the collection include Lee Mi Yeon, Yoon Eun Hye, Han Hye Jin, Kim Jung Eun, Jang Hyuk, Park Jung Ah, Lee Seung Gi, Wonder Girls, Seo Kyung Seok, Yoo Joon Sang, Hong Eun Hee, and more.
Yoon Eun Hye said: “I really love kids in general, but today my heart aches. … I hope these children will be able to find good parents quickly.” The article notes that even after her photo shoot had finished, she remained in the studio for a long while to spend more time with the children.
Lee Mi Yeon said: “I feel like I have to do a good job so that this child can finish [the shoot] quickly without suffering too much. It’s a small thing, but I hope these beautiful babies can grow up in good environments.”
The Wonder Girls made this stunning, brilliant jewel of an observation after being peed on by their baby (the specific girl of wonder left unspecified): “Kids are okay even after ingesting pee.” WTF? The article praises them for not growing annoyed at the baby for peeing over them, but I think they must just lack the mental faculties to muster such an emotion.
Large-scale versions of the photography will be on display from December 19 through 25 at the Insa Art Center in Seoul, and can also be seen on the official website, http://lovefund.or.kr.

the babies are cute!!! Waw..*heart melts*
Poor babies, wish they can get good parents.
And for the stars, I wish there're more male stars were included. Man and baby's picture is ADORABLE..:D
BTW, Joo Ji Hoon's facial expression is kinda stiff, is he afraid holding a baby? ( and the baby is also looking at him, and think " What he is doing? He's not going to make me fall,eh?" hehehe )
Meanwhile Jang Hyuk looks more natural..( and the baby he's holding is incredibly cute ) Like it!
I clicked the site to see more pictures but the site is in Korean, and I don't know which one I should click to see the rest, can you help me? thanks!

aww...cute babies and sad that they have no parents. But on the bright side, they get to spend some time with those nice celebrities and get to experience what it's like to have a parent(s) for a day. I can tell from the picture above that YEH will definitely be a good mother someday. If I'm not mistaken, the baby is a boy. He sort of looks like a famous Korean actor.

I really like JH and KJE pictures - he looks so comfy with the kid and she just looks so maternal in that picture and the baby is semi hugging her back ^_^ The photoshoot in general is just really sweet.
I dunno but seeing Wonder Girls with all those babies really looks like they are endorsing teen pregnancy or something >_

You seem not to like Wondergirls? Your comment is, um, ouch? These girls are actually quite sweet. The one on the left in particular, Park Ye Eun, is also a rather bright girl.

I don't actively hate the Wonder Girls, but sweet or no, their talent-to-fame ratio is exceedingly low, and when one makes a brain-dead statement like the one above, I count them as fair game.

I guess I hold you above such remarks. Maybe it was my mistake.
However, is that quote correct? Ingested? Okay, well, that is rather odd.
For a girl group marketed the way they are, I find that at the very least, the Wondergirls as a whole have a sufficient amount of talent. They have just enough talent, and then they're very appealing, so that explains the fame. Well, it's all very subjective - that's just my personal opinion.
Thank you for sharing the article. I hope the Christmas season brings some warmth to these children.

those babies are adorable and wish they'll find great and loving parents
@ djes, yeah, I noticed that, too... Ju Ji Hoon seems like he isn't doing a campaign to raise awareness and support of domestic adoptions and his stare is kinda creepy...lol

Ju Ji Hoon's picture gives me the creeps.
He just seems so cold and unemotional while holding the baby.

there's BTS picture in YEH thread in soompi where she's feeding baby Seung Jin. It brought tears to my eyes. She's staying for over 2 hrs after the shooting to play with the baby

In preparation for the 5th anniversary of the "Angels' Trust/Letter (not sure of this one)" our studio is now very crowded due to the two newborns and five to six disabled children. Many notables have been coming to my studio recently, taking time out of their busy schedules to participate in this exhibition and helping these orphans to find a new home. This is perhaps a sign of the maturation of our society, and is not an uncommon sight. But what is particularly heartwarming, are the young stars who joyfully participated in the photo-shoot. This year, we have Yoon Eun Hye, Han Hye Jen (???), Nancy Lang, etc, young mothers who joined in good spirits, leading one to expect that this would be a spectacular photography exhibition.
In the process of the photo-shoot, something valuable I discovered is that, most of the participants joined for the love of the children. Like Yoon Eun Hye, who only spent 30 minutes taking the photos, but remained in the studio for 2 hours after to play with the kids and feeding them milk. When Yoon Eun Hye was with the kids, my studio felt like there were two mischievous kids, vibrant, boisterous and full of life and exuberance. In these situations, perhaps the strong maternal instincts in the female artistes are sparked by the plight of the orphans, explaining their behaviour. However, for the most parts, male artistes seldom express their feelings and love, or play together with the children.

Look at the baby in JJH's arms! Nervously sucking his/her thumb, if he could speak up, he'd probably say this: "Sir, I don't know who you are and why you're holding me, but PLEASE DON'T DROP ME! I'm feeling like I'm on the edge here!"
The way he's holding is... hmm.. just not natural.
Jang Hyuk looks like a proud father! He went all out to give the baby skin-to-skin contact! I adoreeeeee him!!!
All the girls seem to handle the baby very well.

In my opinion, Joon Ji Hoon's photo was the most amazing of all next to Kim Jeung Eun. It showed depth of what they were campaigning for. It looked stunning~

I really like Jang Hyuk and Kim Jung Eun's baby holding picture...they just had the right feeling and emotion for it. Just look into their eyes..you can feel something.. The others were just bleah..for the sake of posing and looking pretty..

#3 reader, yah the baby sort of looks like so ji sub but actually I was thinking of another k-actor. And yup, that Ju Ji Hoon guy looks a little creepy (I think it has something to do with his hairstyle) LOL. The baby looks scared and uncomfortable which you can see from the baby's eyes and posture. He should have worn white top like the others, that might have helped. Ok, I'll stop criticizing the poor guy now.

i don't know much about photography. but there is nothing that particularly grabs my attention as much as the babies do. I like looking at the babies more than i like looking at the actors and popular people themselves. The babies look so clueless compared to the adults who are smiling and posing. The babies are more natural looking, because they are in a state of not knowing the situation they are in.
I'm sorry but from an artist's point of view, these photos are so bad in composition that they are good. That's what my professor would have said.

super cute babies!
I have to say my favorites are the Kim Jung Eun and Jang Hyuk ones. They look so natural holding the babies. Joo Ji Hoon just creeps me out in that pic. He is not making people want to love the baby he is holding....
The Wondergirl quote cracks me up...I can't even say anything more on that. Talk about a Clueless moment,eh?

my favorite picture is definitely Yoo Eun Hye's...she looks like how everyone should look when they hold a baby: happy. the others were good too, but i think its best to SMILE and BE HAPPY when you're with something so cute. i love the baby's hair in YEH's pic. hee.

mai, I'd have to disagree.
Even though I don't really think the actors should be looking at the camera as well... maybe the photographer wanted those actors to make contact with the people looking at the pictures. Since Korean advertising in so heavily reliant on using celebrities as brand names on top of products and causes....that type of composition is what they are going for. So basically, the photos isn't just about a relationship between the baby and the celebrity...it has a 3rd party that needs to get the message.
Plus, the celebrities is a good marketing strategy because it give these photos a bigger buzz and the cause a larger audience.

Yeah, this is one of the best JJH pics I've seen in a long time. I had to repost it elsewhere after seeing it on popseoul... just too good not to share. :)
I guess this sort of kills my scheme to adopt a Korean baby, though... I'll have to figure out some other way of getting a Korean (or half korean *shifty eyes*) baby, hehe.

wow, it's ironic that the stars look almost too perfect and it does make for an awkward feel when the stars look directly at the camera
more importantly, it's really sad that there are so many korean orphans looking for homes and not many koreans who are willing to adopt someone who doesn't share the same bloodline as themselves. is korea still one of the top countries "exporting babies"?

Haha. The water I was drinking almost came out my nose, seriously. Thanks, Javabeans, you kill me. I can always count on you to make my Friday, or any other day of the week.
The babies are too A-DOR-A-ABLE! It's nice to see the stars attached to a good cause. Love the Jang Hyuk & baby picture.
