I don't know for the story, but they're slaying with their visuals.

The plot sounds meh.

We can suspend belief to watch entertainment dramas. But for fiction to work needs some basis in fact. The more information that leaks out, the more off-the-rails the story gets.
The idea of a South Korean scammer targeting North Koreans is a ludicrous idea. North Korea is under international sanctions. It has no cash reserves. It is run by a totalitarian dictatorship. Outside travel is restricted to diplomatic channels. Who is he going to scam in a poor country?
I really wonder if this is a bad attempt to modernize the Wizard of Oz film as a fantasy rom-com: SYJ is Dorothy blown off course into an imaginary world. Is HB the tin man looking for a heart?

this seems like so much fun and the cast is definitely worth staying for. Excited about KJH's return to dramaland!

It seems like the writers lack even basic knowledge of North Korea, like it is some exotic fictional country made up just for the drama.

I don’t understand this plot. There’s nothing funny about landing in In In North Korea people get torture and killed. A soldier falling in love with a heiress and trying to hide PLEASE. A scammer trying to scam a North Korean that’s also not believable. They should have picked a different country or setting. There’s nothing appealing about this drama except the main leads.

I think the con man is doing something with sunglasses. The kind that are so old-looking that they seem modern again, except that in NK theyre still wearing the original old ones. That's it, he's running some kind of sunglasses-export biz from NK.

The premise does sound a bit like this could be a mess but then again the writers other dramas also had quirky setups and they turned out good so I wont make an assumption before seeing it. Maybe it does have a fantasy element and that could somehow make things work.

Everything about this drama sounds unbelievable, and idk if it's a good thing that we already need to suspend our disbelief before it's even aired.

Some of this writer's past works (You From Another Star, Legend of the Blue Sea) have been the good kind of wacky, fun and sometimes cracktastic... but I think the fantasy element in those helped.

Great cast though.

My Hyun Bin is back! Yay! and he is back with gorgeous Sohn Ye Jin.

There will be many cliches in this drama, but i think i am gonna like it. This show will receive higher ratings even with a loosely woven plot.

I've gotten so revved up by the prospect of CRASH LANDING ON YOU that this morning I rewatched Sohn Ye-jin's 2003 film THE CLASSIC, with Cho Seung-woo, Zo In-sung, and Lee Ki-woo. Imagine my surprise to learn that the vaguely-familiar actress who plays one of the leading lady's school chums is Seo Young-hee, alias Baek Yi-kang's mom Yoo-wol in NOKDU FLOWER. She wants to be an announcer, and constantly flaunts her elocution at the drop of a hat. LOL!

If you liked LOVE RAIN, there's a good chance you'll enjoy THE CLASSIC.

I don't really get the popular opinion that this is going to flop/ be a mess? A lot of dramas have horrible a synopsis before they premier...maybe they're just leaving the rest of the plot out because it's a spoiler? They do that sometimes.

...Or maybe I'm just being blindly optimistic cause it's Hyunbin and Sohn Yejin🤷🏻‍♀️

Hunky North Korean conservative male falling for legally-blondish rich spunky South Korean haired? Oh yeah, PLEASE! Honestly, the very first drama of 2019 I can’t wait to watch. The rest of the offering had tons of “red flags” even before I watched them, and almost everyone fulfilled them. Camellia is a bright spot in 2019 arena. Haven’t watched One Spring Night or Sky Castle but eagerly wait to watch them once I have time. Her Private Life, 100 Days My Prince, Rookie Historian, Touch Your Heart were all dramas I finished watching live. Dropped Hotel Del Luna but I’ll try to pick it up later. All other offerings I either don’t remember even starting or not remember at all or were too bad to mention. Feels like a dismal year. But really no drama I ever anticipated to watch this year than Crash Landing On You. Hope it rights the wrong for forgetful 2019.
