Oh Yeon-seo is out on the track field for People With Flaws

Oh Yeon-seo (Hwayugi) is the picture of a passionate gym teacher in the new stills released by the People With Flaws team. In this upcoming drama, she plays a woman who grew up the sister to exceedingly handsome brothers, and that childhood left her with a strong disgust for pretty men. Thus, unlike a lot of women, her ideal man is utterly ordinary looking.

On the other hand, Ahn Jae-hyun (Reunited Worlds) plays a man who is obsessed with his looks. When these two meet, prejudices fly and the bickering begins, but as they slowly come to know each other, the misunderstandings melt away into a true love.

Let me just say that Oh Yeon-seo looks absolutely fantastic here, and her tendency to choose outgoing, strong characters seems to be a great fit for her. The topic of outer appearances is also very interesting especially with the current Korean standards of beauty, and I hope this drama gives us a new perspective about it like My ID is Gangnam Beauty did for us last year.

MBC Wednesday-Thursday drama People With Flaws begins airing in November.

Oh Yeon Seo is an exceptional actress. While I believe the Hong Sisters stifled/screwed her role in Hwayugi, other roles have showcased her abilities. "Outstanding Actress" awards in 2012, 2014 and 2016 attest to that. With all that has been going on in AJH's private life, I hope he has a strong performance with the rest of this talented cast. OYS was phenomenal In Run-off with Kim Seul-gi, so I know they're fun to watch together. Fingers-crossed for the drama's success.

The screenshot of Oh Yeon Seo gives me good Come Back Ahjusshi vibes. Han Hong-nan was one of my favorite kdrama characters. I'm hoping the actual drama will be more interesting than the plot description.

i have to laugh...let's hope they really challenge actual issues with beauty and what is the basis of these issues and why.

idk if i'll be catching this cos the male lead...but i loooooove seulgi soooo much so i might have to 0-<-<

i have to laugh as in there's literally a plethora of reasons why we would have prejudice against pretty men and almost all of that is patriarchy lmao the oversimplification of an existing problem and somehow being able to skew facts and in turn putting equal blame between men and women isssssssssss fascinating

I' have been waiting for the release of this Oh Yeon Seo comedy/romantic drama. She is a very effective actress and so pretty/cool at that. More drama for her and Season 2 of Hwayugi please.
