What’s Wrong Mr. Poong-sang releases new poster and stills

What’s Wrong Mr. Poong-sang is a dramedy about a man who will do anything for his siblings. Yoo Joon-sang (Falsify) is in the titular role of Mr. Poong-sang. This drama is brought to us by screenwriter Moon Young-nam (Our Gap-soon) and PD Jin Hyung-wook (My Man’s Secret) who have worked together in the past on hit makjang series King’s Family.
Poong-sang became the breadwinner for his family at a young age, and he ekes out a living by managing a small neighborhood car center, as its mechanic. His troublemaking siblings keep causing him nothing but headaches. He’s lived his entire life breaking his back to resolve their problems and issues for them; however, he still loves them very much. Through different situations that arise in Poong-sang’s life, the show will explore the meaning of family.
Awww, this drama already sounds like it will break my heart. I’m imagining all the circumstances where Poong-sang may try his best for his siblings and get rejected despite his efforts. Hopefully, everyone will show growth in the end. This writer has written some of my favorite comedy family dramas like Wang’s Family and Famous Chil Princesses, but she’s also written some stinkers like Our Gap-soon. But with Yoo Joon-sang onboard, I think we might have a winner here!
Wednesday-Thursday KBS drama What’s Wrong Mr. Poong-sang will air starting January 9 of next year.

This sounds like Our Gabsoon's male version except Gabsoon was not a breadwinner for her family, instead her longtime loser boyfriend LOL. This writer's last drama was so terrible and horrible with not a single character in a right mind, so I wonder if her writing can do justice for the whole casts in this drama this time around. A lot of frustrating characters in one drama is not something easy to watch.

I'm a fan of stage actors and family dramas, so this is the first drama I will be tuning in to in 2019. Will be rooting for stage actors Yoo Joon Sang and Lee Chang Yeob (not listed here, but will play the maknae of the family). Already sounds like a headache, but looks heartwarming. ^^
