Potential Lee Dong-wook, Yoo Inna romance reunion in the works

Dramagods, make this happen! According to the latest reports, the legal rom-com drama Reach of Sincerity is currently courting both Yoo Inna (The Lonely Shining Goblin) and Lee Dong-wook (Life) to be its leading couple. Originally, the offer for the male lead was given to Jung Kyung-ho, but it looks like he might have turned it down because Lee Dong-wook’s agency says he is favorably considering the part.

Based on a web novel by the same name, Reach of Sincerity is an upcoming tvN drama about the romance between a prickly lawyer and a top actress. It is being helmed by PD Park Joon-hwa from Because This Life Is Our First.

The story begins with our heroine experiencing a sudden disgraceful fall from her place in the limelight after she has a scandal with a third-generation chaebol. Earlier, the synopsis for Reach of Sincerity contained a line about the heroine disguising herself as a secretary to work for the hero, but it’s missing from the latest reports, though the drama is still being described as a secret office romance.

The best part is clearly the possible reunion between our grim reaper and his queen — this could be their third lives unfolding as it did in the Goblin epilogue! Their chemistry in it was otherworldly, and if they show even a fraction of that energy for this show, I will gladly stay glued to my screen until the end.

Reach of Sincerity will be broadcast starting next January.

Also, is it just me or does Yoo Inna play a lot of actresses? The Greatest Love, Queen In-Hyun's Man and My Love from Another Star :D

OMG I love this. I really want them to be together to because, duh. I really love PSJ and PMY to death but I dropped WWWSK because of the absence of a solid plot in the second half. I really hope that she is an actress who has fallen from grace. It would bring together many interesting situations

I was wishing for a spin-off drama for their characters in Goblin but I don’t think they do that in Kdramaland. Their chemistry is amazing! I really hope they accept this one.

I am not a fan of Why Secretary Kim so I am not that sad Jung Kyung Ho turned this drama down. I do hope he will sign for a new drama soon though, I already miss him even though Mars just ended recently.

Is it the directing or the story? Because so far, the director's projects were never really disappointing.
But anyway, yeah, I too miss him already. What made me excited about the potential return of him through this drama was that it'll be released on January. At least we got a mark on our new year calendar.
So, hopefully, he's getting other projects and even sooner by schedule, with even better script! Hopefully!

I have a mix feeling of this possible reunion - sometimes a popular pair should not reunite because the reunion might not be as good as the first one - just like Lee Dong wook & Lee Dae Hae because My Girl was wonderful but Hotel King was meh. Not every reunion would be like Ji Sung & Hwang Jung eum. But this one might turn out very well for these two - so I'll just be optimist on this one.

It's a bummer JKH turned down the offer, I still think JKH-YIN still the better option acting wise rather than LDW-YIN although back then I do like them as a couple more than the main couple on Goblin (ended up dropping the drama nonetheless, am not into KES drama)
