I've not watched a historical drama for so long due to my disdain for palace politics and overly dramatic war scenes, but this show looks way too good to ignore with its synopsis. I don't doubt the leads will shine in their acting since their skills have been proven already, though I do wonder if the writing will be fresh enough to differ itself from Shopping King Louis (it does sound awfully similar without the historical tag) which the female lead previously starred in.

Are we already being told it's a doomed relationship if the whole point is that it's only for 100 days? I made it through the wonderful Seven Day Queen, but I don't know if I could handle another one. 😭

This drama looks cute and adorable! Here's hoping it's going on a happy route and not a sad one because my heart isn't ready.

It looks as if the little girl the princeling promised to marry may have been from a noble family. Perhaps their fortunes waned, and as an adult she's just a commoner now. Luckily he's no longer seja, and can make good on his promise. Until he remembers who he is. This ought to be fun. I'm getting a MOONLIGHT DRAWN BY CLOUDS vibe.

There was this very old Chinese movie that I watched a long time ago about a commoner girl who met a prince who was pretending to be a commoner. At least I think he was, because he could have been having amnesia. They got married, then one day, the palace sent news that the king had died, and he was to be the new king. He went back to the palace, and swore he would come back for her, and bring her back to the palace, and make her his Queen. She waited, and she waited, but he never came. He forgot about her - can you believe it - and was busy with court affairs. Then she fell sick, and her relative, someone, can't remember who, went to the palace, and begged the king to come. He remembered, and filled with guilt, sent a carriage to fetch her. They dressed her in attire fit for a queen and she went to the palace. She died, waiting for him in her bedchambers. Sooooo sad.

if I hadn´t seen reality shows and backstage videos I would have a hard time to trust he can be a sweet idiot. His whole face and impression, just.... I always take a step back somehow. But he is one of the better idol actors, surely he´ll convince me.

I love Nam Ji-hyun, she is so cute and a good actress. And all the things I've seen D.O in he has done an excellent job. I'm excited he is getting a main role in something because I think he will do a good job.

I also love forced cohabitation dramas and forced marriages. I've also been in a historical drama kick so this has all the things I want in a drama. I can't wait! Please be good!

So... Shopping King Louie but in the past? Sign me up.
