Having only seen him in healer, I can see him playing this character well :)

Ooooo. How lucky to have him doing so many dramas lately! I love him as an evil bastard, but it will be exciting to see him at the center of a show as a protagonist. Looks like we'll be getting lots of thrillers this year to go with our sageuks.

The plot sounds interesting, i love cold cases there is something addicting in those kind of plots, reminds me of the American tv show Cold Case I like that show.

I have to admit though, I like the description of the partner more than the geeeeeenius investigator role. It's too bad it isn't possible for Seo In-guk to do it because he'd be great in a role like that.

I like him in Good Wife and love crime/ thriller. Hope he accepts

Ohhh I love him since Old Boy. N now I love him more cos of his love for his Wife and now he's a dad. He's also bloody handsome and charismatic on screen. I hope it's not an idol who's his partner, unless it's Sung Jae.

Ah yes, hot and smoldering indeed! ♥ I watched him in Healer and found him just attractive but by golly he plays bad so well. The way he played Lee Tae Joon in TGW was so great, it was the first time I rooted for the "bad" guy

Welcome Yoo Ji Tae to the long line of recent geeeeeeeeeeeenius' that Dramaland's offered us in the last couple of months or should I say years? Now this is having me wish that someone would write a story where we have all the geeeeeeeeeeeeeniuses come together and try to out genius each other. I wonder who would win in that circumstance? The genius investigator? The genius chaebol sharpshooter? The genius surgeon who's learning how to feel again? The genius psychopath who's on loan from the prison where he's presently cooling his jets with his other criminal buddies: Goo Tak, Woong Chul and Tae Soo? The genius former ex-psychopath who's currently chasing another genius psychopathic killer on the run? The genius goofy writer who was hiding in a magazine studio? The genius maths lecturer who takes a break from a quiz show also run by another genius? The genius alien who's finally figured out a way to stay on earth long enough without vanishing (or does he not count cuz he's an alien and has an unfair advantage?) The genius autistic doctor who's received recognition amidst his peers? Or maybe in their brilliance, they will just gang up to take over the world together.

As the lead? Yes puleease.
Although I wish it would be on OCN instead. I'm worried it'll be boring if it's on KBS and Yoo Ji-tae is way too good to waste.

So I guess after the phase of workplace drama we're getting a phase of procedural-mystery dramas? I'm not complaining.

I really enjoy that most of the dramas coming out this year are law/criminal/thriller. But I can't help to be concerned that by August we'll be overwhelmed and annoyed after having watched the same types of plots all year. Too much of something isn't good

Yoo Ji Tae is so hot especially in that news photo. That angle. xD I still need to see him in The Good Wife eventually. But anyways, still excited to see him in more dramas. ^^

Ooooh, me likey. Loved him in Healer, somehow missed The Good Wife but from y'all raving about his smoldering bastard character, I think TGW just got bumped higher on my two-watch list! Also -- I read "The new “stylish investigative” series is described..." really quickly so my brain thought girlfriday was saying Yoo Ji-tae will be a "stylish investigator" on top of being a geeeeeeeeeenius. LOL.

Genius vegan zombie doctor sounds positively geeeeeeeeeenius. Are you sure you've not pulled a Kang Chul stepped out of your own drama after your genius self achieved self realization?

But seriously, the plot and the characters sound like some of those American police procedural dramas where you got a genius head detective/investigator and a quirky, oddball sidekick.

Looking forward to this! Had a bit of a crush since watching "Healer".

I stills confusing should I forgive Yoo Ji Tae if he cheating me. He's so hot. Yoo Ji Tae and Yoo Jun Sang, Ji Chang Wook, Ha Seok Jin, just put them together and wait to see what happen.

Why more criminal thrillers? Why not more fluffy rom-coms? :(

Yoo jitae has the icy cold demeanor down pat in Healer and The Good Wife. Wish his character this time round would be a little more warmer (?) and relatable

yoo ji tae is such a versatile actor. he is an especially good bad guy. I liked him so much more than the American peter florrick. it's nice to see him popping back up on dramaland.

I'm really tired of crimes dramas, I mean there is always a reason why I want to watch them (usually the awesome actors and actresses that are cast) but I can not stand the stereotypical roles that are displayed. I mean, about Tunnel for example : nope, @ the psychologist who sounds like a cold serial killer. sigh.
I'll probably check this one out because Yoo Ji Tae. But here we go again with the unoriginal trope about the genius detective.
He solves the most puzzling of the cold cases that no one else has been able to unravel, and has unparalleled charisma.
I count on him for the charisma, but I really hope the cases will be coherent and truly impressive if that's the plot they're going with...
I wish TEN season 3 would come back, this is a crime/detective show that truly impressed me. I miss it!
