1. First loves and money problems? Sounds like a classic K-drama
   

   Hi! I am so addicted to your website. I check it daily, especially for recaps, since I don’t have that much time to watch, being a mom of three young kids.

   Anyway, there is a Korean drama I have been desperately trying to find again. It is about a woman whose ex-boyfriend moves next door. They were each other’s first loves, but she didn’t marry him because he was too poor at the time (I think)? But he became a successful lawyer. I think her husband was physically abusive, so she found comfort in her ex. The drama may have been from the late 90s or early 2000s.

   I hope someone here can help me please! I have been searching and searching. Thank you so much!

3. Wait, the hero got what he wanted? And no Truck of Doom hit him afterward?
   

   After reading several articles here about upcoming workplace dramas, suddenly this scene popped into my head. Please help me find out what drama it is from, Beanies!

   So our hero got a new task to ask for an investment or explain a new project to a certain chairman (I’m not sure if he was a chairman, but he must have been someone powerful with connections). And then he told his friends (or sunbae?) about it. They immediately instructed him on a very long list of things to not do, because apparently this chairman was very picky. When our hero complained about it, they advised him to just “be sincere.” It actually worked like a charm, and our hero got the investment(?) he needed.

    

4. This sounds familiar, but I can’t think of it either…
   

   Hi, I was wondering if you could help me recall what drama this is. It’s one of the first dramas I had an interest in, so I would like to try and watch it.

   All I remember is that there are three brothers, and they’re all married. I think one was divorced? And one was trying to conceive a child, so they were eating all this herbal medicine and they had IVF treatment, but after they got the news that the woman was pregnant, she fainted or something? And had a miscarriage I think? I think she might have been living with her in-laws? It’s been a while so I don’t exactly remember. It was pre-2010 if that helps.

5. Name That Drama Based off That Synopsis Based off a Memory
   

   I have only read a synopsis of this drama some time ago. But now I can’t remember the name or the actors’ names or any specific details. However, I think the drama is about two childhood enemies. They grew up in the same neighborhood or something, and the boy used to bully her. Later, she grew up to become a kindergarten teacher, and somehow the hero (who is a jerk) also meets up with her again.

   And the end is very predictable in that the hero becomes a good guy with influence over the heroine.

   I am really sorry, but I am not sure if it is even a Korean drama or not. Thank you, and a very belated Happy New Year.
