Programming note: Mr. Black, Ajusshi episodes pre-empted Wednesday
by javabeans
Just a quick note to alert you to a scheduling change for the broadcasts of Wednesday’s episodes of Goodbye Mr. Black on MBC and Come Back, Ajusshi on SBS, which have been pushed to the following day, April 14, in favor of coverage of the National Assembly elections.
Both shows will air two episodes back-to-back on Thursday evening instead. Goodbye Mr. Black will air Episode 9 in its regular 10pm timeslot and follow it with Episode 10, while Come Back, Ajusshi has opted to shift its hours forward by airing Episode 15 an hour earlier, with Episode 16 concluding the show’s run in the show’s normal timeslot.
This will not affect our recap schedule for Ajusshi, but obviously we won’t have a Mr. Black recap up for you later tonight. We intend to post both recaps Thursday instead, barring any last-minute changes, like maybe another scheduling revision or severe eye-roll-induced injury. (There are so many opportunities. I might put an eye out one of these days.)
KBS, meanwhile, intends to keep slaughtering its competition by airing Descended From the Sun as normal, so there will be no changes to the recap posting schedule. To further milk the cow that is Descended, KBS will follow its airing of Episode 15 on Wednesday night with a broadcast of Song Joong-ki’s hit melo-fantasy-romance movie Werewolf Boy, because it knows where its money comes from.

"To further milk the cow that is Descended, KBS will follow its airing of Episode 15 on Wednesday night with a broadcast of Song Joong-ki’s hit melo-fantasy-romance movie Werewolf Boy, because it knows where its money comes from." hhhhhhhhhhhhhh I believe KBS suffered from bad raiting dramas for a long time lately (but not bad drama's necessarily: I Remember you for escample) so it can enjoy its success and it's a good thing for SJK's fans!!! :)

Slay away, DOTS. I really enjoyed the early episodes of it but after a while, I started to lose my excitement. IMO, the events that brought or kept them together felt too manufactured. What really irked me though was when it was Kang Mo yeon who was always stuck in numerous harmful situations but it was Yoon Myung joo who got infected with the deadly virus. The latest illogical happenings in recent eps had me rolling my eyes several times. Despite everything, I'm still gonna finish it and I'm happy Song Joong ki benefited a lot from this.

It seems illogical, but when I looked at it closely, when the blood spattered from the infected patient, Kang Mo yeon, being the experienced surgeon she is, quickly closed her eyes, but Yoon Myung joo, (the less experienced doctor) left her eyes wide open, and some of the blood splatter got into her eyes. I thought that was probably the cause of infection. If that's the reason for the spread of infection to Yoon Myung joo, it's a legitimate one.

Nooooooooo not come back mister :'(
Don't they have news channels and sports channels in S.Korea? Just wondering why the dramas always have to be rescheduled?

In my country things like dramas will get rescheduled as well, if there's a big sports game. Elections usually only come on the public channels, where it obviously should take precedence, but the sports thing kan be truly annoying. We have sports channels, yet even so sports is prioritized on ordinary channels.
Maybe it's the same in SK?

I believe Korea only has 3 public broadcasting channels. So there isn't a lot of wiggle room. But, i'm not sure if one of these channels has multiple channels? Like I see KBS1 or KBS 2 sometimes on the drama I'm watching.

So KBS, SBS and MBS would be the public ones? If you look at this, http://wiki.d-addicts.com/List_of_Dramas_aired_in_Korea_by_Network_in_2015, it would appear that KBS does have a channel 1 and 2, but the others don't seem to have more than one.

As an international fan you would think this way but don't you think the future of the country is more important?

Haha yes, I was being sarcastic, don't worry! I actually wish I knew more about South Korean politics and was able to follow the election, but sadly our news don't cover it. The only foreign election they care about is the American one... *sigh* (Which is of course important, but it would be nice if they'd show more of what was going on elsewhere around the world.)

Bite your tongue! I may just consider DOTS ended last week if there are any deaths. (I still traumatized by the ending of IRIS - 15 freaking seconds!)

Early nominations for KBS Drama Awards 2016 (from legit sources, I swear!)
Daesang: Song Joong Ki
Best Couple: SongSong Couple
Popularity Award: Song Joong Ki
Netizens Award: Song Joong Ki
Special Award by PD: Song Joong Ki
Barring any force majeure situation, I can see SJK wins big at the upcoming Drama Awards and it's not even counting Baeksang, etc.

They're letting DOTS get into potentially 40-50% territory for the ending haha I guess that's one strategy to avoid the slaying that DOTS is doing with its ratings. There's no point in trying to compete and it's the last two episodes so I think it's a smart move. Too bad no one's going to be watching the national election though... it'll all be DOTS now lol

"Too bad no one’s going to be watching the national election though…" Are you sure? It's all over the place this whole night though. Especially when President Park's Saenury Party suffered a big lost.
