Oh Snap! Kang Dong-won and Song Hye-gyo’s Parisian date

My god they’re pretty. We’ve been getting tiny glimpses here and there of this Vogue photo shoot that caused all kinds of dating rumors to surface between Kang Dong-won and Song Hye-gyo, but now that I see the full set, I kinda want it to be true. The co-stars play parents to a child with progeria in the heartwarming family melodrama Dugeun Dugeun My Life, which hits theaters September 3.

damn they are gorgeous together, but then I've never seen Kang Dong-won or Song Hye-kyo look bad, EVER. Love the pics of them at the table, they look so relaxed around each other - a good sign for costars!
I love how actors of that generation (late 70s/early 80s) pair up so well together.

Now THEY look like movie stars. I love, love, love it. Although it's Paris and a sixties aesthetic so it's pretty much right up my alley.
I want to cry at how SIXTIES the first two pictures are. The make up, the hair, the glasses, the outfit. UGH. What I would give to look like that every day. So glamorous.

So gorgeous...but my only gripe with this photoshoot is the black and white filter. Whyyy? It's Vogue (Korea)! It's Paris! It's KDW and SHK! Black and white has been done to death already. Wish the photographer would be a bit more innovative with the colors.

I don't think I've ever seen SHK look so drop dead gorgeous. She is stunning here and looks more fantastic as the years go by. And that hair can make anyone jealous.

In the US, this sort of fashion magazine photography went out of vogue quite some time ago. And it is not ancient enough to come back as retro chic yet. Worse, Paris is now regarded so last millennium. At least, that is what the current taste-makers of the US will say.
Of course, fashion trends that expire in both coasts always find a retirement home in American heartland/hinterland, where, I hear, they still wear baggy pants, for example. And in some foreign nations, too, apparently.

Huh? Paris is never out of vogue. Floral style and baggy pants are pretty much on trend. Givenchy, Saint Laurent, Prada, Tom Ford and the like have variation of floral design in their recent collections. The only designer I haven't seen using floral much is Pheobe Philo's Cèline who prefers minimalistic look. Trends come and go. Most things people find unappealling in this circle are considered highly fashionable by the industry.

They took two beautiful people to Paris, so no wonder the pictures look great, right? They might be just as good if they were taken in a yurta in Mongolia or in a sleepy town anywhere in the world. Now, it would be something new to have Song Hye Kyo and take an ugly photo ;).
But obvious things aside, I can't ake my eyes of the black dress that looks as if it were made from a winter coat. Funny idea. Unfortunatley I am afraid only few people are able to wear it without looking weird. Not everybody can be Song Hye Kyo...

Even if you hire an accountant, you are the one signing off on the return and you are responsible for it. Income tax rates don't change that much from year to year. It's kind of hard to miss that you're paying $2.5 million less in taxes than you were before. I highly doubt she doesn't know anything about her finances and just signs off on whatever people put in front of her.

Well. She learned not to play with loop holes the hard way and paid back the taxes. Do you want her to commit suicide or never work again? If people would have to do that in order to keep others happy over taxes, it would leave many empty seats in any Congress, Parlament and everywhere else. Flat tax, no deductions on anything is an answer.
