Like everyone else, I just want to say THANKS for these awesome podcasts! I also want to thank you for putting the times for each topic discussion. We have not been watching CH yet (I know, crazy?) and have been trying really hard not to hear specifics. But any chance to talk JJ Abrams and Joss Whedon - you're on!

I had so much fun listening to you guys and i could just imagine how much fun it would be to drink with you...and of course i love the city hunter gushing!!! You're doing it all for us and for our love of city hunter. and like you up there, i'm wishing wishing wishing for season 2. i think am gonna love city hunter for a long time: the OST too!!!(so this is really how it feels to be so in love with a show!)

Oh, and before I forget - I sympathize with your bloodthirsty tendencies where City Hunter is concerned, but ep. 1 had lots of murder and mayhem, plus the fact that FauxDaddy, JP, offed three people in the hospital with his handy-dandy cane/sword. I know - it's just not enough....*sigh*. As long as YS, NaNa or Ajusshi don't bite the Big One, I'm okay with more going to Kdrama heaven.

Hi I was just wondering since you like shows like Buffy, Alias, Veronica Mars, and hot guys, Have you guys tried out Super Natural? I guess the writing is not as strong as Buffy but it still a very good show especially starting at season 2. Also, have you guys heard of Friday Night Lights? I guess its nothing like above shows but its a really well written / acted drama. The series just ended last week but I think its worth checking out on DVDs.

I know about the being glad to be a noona. I'm not actually a noona to LMH (if being a noona means being older than him) but I'm glad I'm at this age b/c I know if I was just a couple of years younger my obsession and absorption with incomparable beauty would actually cause me physical pain. Well, at least it would be an even more consuming obsession, if that's even possible.

hey JB and GF, I love ur ideas for season two so if they don't make a season 2 can u please write a fan-fiction because ur beginning sounds awesome and now i want to know "what next?"...so if they don't make a season two then i would love for u guys to do fan-fiction and u could maybe put one chapter/part every week. I just want to say: I like your ideas for season 2!!
in fact, ever since episode 5, i started to feel that city hunter could go beyond 1 season and my mind wandered to how i think it should be done too! The current season is almost just like a prelude / beginnings. I can SO totally imagining them leaving an open ending and starting off season 2 with YS and ahjussi (thats why they can't kill him, he has to be the sidekick in season 2) in their dingy office, taking up cases and bickering along the way. I am so for NANA not being there because people would expect that. and YS to evolve to be the city hunter the anime/manga is like, the flirty badass playboy who uses his looks (and brain/skills) to get what he wants and solve cases. The shallow exterior covering up for the sensitive good boy he is (we all know lee min ho can do this so well) Somehow along the way, Nana is with someone else (well, he did ask her to find some one didnt he, so reap what you sow dude!) and they could weave in the plotline about how he still cares for her. whatever..actually it would be great if they kill her off (i agree that if they did in that episode that she got shot, it would have propelled this drama to my all time "great" list. but then again, i was half wishing (that they had the balls to do it) but biting my nails hoping that it wont happen. I like park min young enough, shes not as great an actor as lee min ho or the rest but what she does works for me. she's likeable and they are cute together so it was hard i suppose for the script to kill her off. but honestly her death (esp at the end of season1) would create more intensitiy and story for YS character to develop. she would always remain his first love, which hero doesnt have someone dear buried deep in his heart? Awwwww...it makes so much sense on paper but here again, i think maybe ..dont kill her just make her leave him and leave the story open yeah..hahaha show is making me schizo...

and please i have to add this: Lee Min Ho is soooooo HOT! Gosh, i cant understand how he is like only 23 or 24? This guy OWNS the screen whenever he appears. This is a face meant for stardom, and boy can he act. Give a man a mask that covers 3/4 of his face (minus the great hair of course) and still he is able to make his eyes talk. And yes He's making me feel like a PERVERT while i gush of his hotness. Kid has a shining future, just need to make the right choices in his next few projects. He definately has the versitlity to expand his acting chops in different roles.

Yes!!!! Finally!!!! I've been waiting for you guys to talk about City Hunter!!!! Its funny, since City Hunter aired every Wednesday and Thursday, I am stalking this site for City Hunter recaps, then Podcast #7 comes out and I am stalking your site again for you guys to talk about City Hunter in your podcast. I always feel the need to clap every time I watch, read or just hear about City Hunter too.

I honestly don't want City Hunter to end either, but... I almost feel like another season could just soiled the Awesomeness of this season.

I have a question, it was brought up by a reader of recap #10 that Minho can't go into the Army because of his leg injury.... So, can someone please shine some light on that and explain to me if he can or can't? Originally I didn't want him to go, due to selfish reasons, but then after watching I think it was episode 10 and hearing (well more like reading) that speech about protecting the youth of Korea, I kinda want him to go. I think it would totally be an honor for him to go...

Yes, City Hunter is always one step ahead of us... I like it, but then I don't like it... Cause, see, I'm kinda slow, and I want a chance to marvel at the Awesomeness that just happened before I want anything else to happen. I feel like a bunch of Awesomeness is being thrown at me all at once and it is hard for me to rap my head around what just happened, nonetheless have anytime to appreciate it...

Yeah... You're right... there should be death... But then... with what has been happening so far in the show, I think they are saving the deaths for Yoon Sung or Nana... Thus crushing any hope of another season... I'm preparing myself for that... :( Although... no matter how I look at it, it seems like Mother dearest is going to die. Nana's dad dearest needs to die... Either way the 4 baddies... are dying, its just a shame we don't get to see them die. Because aren't the first 2 baddies dead already? And its only a matter of time before Kim Shik Jong dies, I think he's only in a coma for Nana's benefit, with her dad still in a coma and all. And then, the 4th baddy, who I still can't seem to take seriously as a baddy because just before City Hunter he played Shin Ji Hyun's awesome loving dad; now... he for sure is going to die, and I am hoping for the worst death possible because he is definitely the worst.

Ok, well, I think I am done now...

At the time, I didn't want Nana to die. But watching the last few episodes, I wish she had died. I feel that the tone of the drama has changed from "will-City-Hunter-bring-justice-to-the-group-of-five" to "will-Yoonsung-live-to-get-the-girl." I feel like the drama focuses too much on the romantic angst instead of the revenge aspect. While I enjoy City Hunter, I just can't say that I love it--that shift in trajectory disappointed me too much. Don't get me wrong, Yoon-Sung and Nana are cute together and I like what Nana means to Yoon-Sung, but I'm less interested in romance than in revenge. So if Nana had died, it would have been awesome for the revenge story.
