I'm so used to girls that are supposed to be impersonating boys looking too girlish that the fact that Park Min-young is so pretty doesn't bother me. Besides, next to Song Joong-ki, she could pull it off. I wasn't expecting this to be a real saeguk, but the cartoony backgrounds have made me more excited for this drama.

no, no, i do wish it was sageuk since i think it will be pretty interesting. we had too many modern comedy drama, so i think sageuk romcoms would be refreshing? i mean, like tamra the island. oh.. i do miss tamra the island soooooooooooo the very much!

I like the idea of doing this during the Joseon era. I have always loved the concept of fusion sageuk since the Choon-hyang parodies. I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for this one.

I'm looking forward to this drama but I don't understand how the lead role went to Yoochun (who has really no acting experience) and not to Song Joong Ki (who has loads in comparison)...???
I dunno...maybe it's a pitch to get millions of DBSK fans to watch but they would have tuned in all the same if Micky had a supporting role and not the main lead. It really does NOT make any sense to me. It seems like a big waste of Joong Ki's talent to cast him in a supporting role like this...but I'll still watch for the cutie and because the whole girl-disguised-as-a-guy thing will never lose its charm!

Most of the dramas these days just casts most of these singers because of their popularity. It's the case with Kim Hyun Joong in "boys before flowers" and lots of others. It's rare that a few of them have the acting chops. Good example is Bi Rain. Lets just enjoy it for what it is.

i love Micky and Joonng ki. I always enjoys those dramas where girls pretends they are guys. But seriously this has no originality. How many times do see chinese dramas do this kind of stuff. Though with all these eye candy, it's hard to pass up.

Song Joong Ki and all the motherf adorable pictures of him!!!!!!! I'll watch anything if he's in it, no matter how bad; but I'll reserve that opinion until I've actually watched the first episode. Late August seems lightyears away.

Micky did act in a Jap drama but it was more like a mini drama not a full fledged one. Each episode was like 10 minutes only...

Looking forward to it. Coz I like shows that make me laugh and it looks like it will...

LOL seems like many people here don't know who Micky is! Surprised! Though he (Micky) have a limited acting experience, he's one of very few idols who ACTUALLY can act IMO, he's the best actor in DBSK IMO! I'm really looking forward to it!

I have a little trouble telling Song Joong Ki and Park Min Young apart in their costumes. He looks more feminine than her, so I think her feminine look isn't a problem.

Looking forward to Yoochun's acting. I think he has potential to be a good actor. He will probably improve as the story progresses.

he doesn't really play much of a role in frozen flower (i actually went and watched the movie just to see SJK ^^) he is just one of JIS's soldiers. like overall he only gets like 3 mins max screen time :(
but it was ok :) some SJK is better then none at all

i watch this drama.
It's a nice one. I just watched until chapter 4
but i'm addicted to watch more!

I thought Micky Yoochun did a great job. He had depth in his character and really fit his role. Watched him in Rooftop Prince and again he surprised me. So did the others. Song Jong Ki acted his bottom off, i felt that he was the x-factor in this show. Yoo Ah-In was great also reminded me a bit of Bidam in the Great Queen. Park Min Young impressed me the least in this drama for some reason. Guess because she smiles in some of the sad scene and shed tears at the same time had difficult time really connecting with her throughout the whole series. I did enjoy it because of all the great lines.
