Lee Young-ae to be a mother

Top star Lee Young-ae (Sympathy for Lady Vengeance, Dae Jang Geum) has announced her pregnancy, which comes one year after she quietly married a Korean-American businessman.

A rep with her management company gave the statement that she is treading carefully at this stage and didn’t confirm how far along she is, although her father reportedly said that she is four months along. The rep also stated that contrary to some reports, she will not stop her studies. (Lee is currently working on her doctorate degree at Hanyang University.)

Lee, now 39, has kept her personal life quite private and married in secret in August 2009, in a ceremony that took place in Hawaii. She has been quietly attending school in the meantime, and the last time she popped up in the public eye was when she attended a basketball game with her husband in April.

second time hearin.g a baby news on this site this month no???....k mean after the news if the actress who played Kangja in fanatsy couple's (dont remember her name)....anyways its always gud to hear such news as opposed to all the deaths and suicides.....congrats Lee Young Ae!!

Btw.. there was media report of Moon So-ri's pregnancy (after married 4 years) as well but she had a miscarriage recently. Is that true? :( I'm sorry if it's inappropriate asking it here.

I'm livid for this happy news. My heart sank a little when she was caught on her University campus interviewing about her secret marriage and future plans of upbringing a family, her tone was hopeless on bearing children, so this brings joyful tears being her fan.

Her grace is moreso magnifying now. I'm lovin' it! Wishing Lee Young-ae and husband a healthy pregnancy and speedy delivery of her first child.

I think this is wonderful news!!! She can definitely have a safe pregnancy and delivery with modern technology. I have many friends who had normal, healthy babies well into their fourties!

hope JJ Hee will also cast as her husband in Dae Jang Geum sequel ... will be great and waiting to watch since quite sometimes after I read it on the website, hopefully sooon.. By the way JJ Hee casts in a totally different type of role in The Great Seer, very well cast... good luck...
