I don't understand the Lee Seung Gi fever. He's just totally average to me. Basically, just not attractive to me and if I am mean and go into the details - his face is too small, his nose big, and overall no special impression.

@1: I went to wikipedia, and it seems like the folklore for nine-tailed foxes goes deep into Chinese/Japanese/Korean culture that no one really knows how it came to fruition sorta like how fairies and ogres are rampant in European/Western fairy tales, but no one can pinpoint the exact way the came to enter the folklore narrative.

I didn't understand the Lee Seung-gi fever either until I saw Brilliant Legacy. Even then it took me probably until I was like 10eps in before I decided he was actually attractive and not just plain fugly. Most of that probably had to do with the goofy/cute character he played but now I have a mini-crush on the guy. Him+Shin Mina+The Hong Sisters makes me really look forward to this show!

How old is he anyways? Liking him might actually make me a child molester I think?!

I find it odd that people think Lee seung Gi is ugly. He's not a total stud but he's good looking.

His fame didn't come with just luck. The guy is really talented.He worked really hard to get where he is today. He can sing, act, host. I admire him even more because he's very smart and has a great personality.

you will never understand why we like Seung Gi so much if you always focus on the outer appearance. Seung Gi is not the pretty boy type, but he has his charm. He can act, sing and host variety shows and still managed to find time to do his Masters' now after completing his basic degree which he passed with flying colors despite all the busy schedule he had previously.

We do not go for pretty faces, we will support the ones with real talent,eg. Seung Gi.

A normal looking guy can be charming when he is serious in his work and show his talent.. A pretty boy can hype interest in you initially, but will not be able to hold on to my interest in him if he doesn't have the talent.

will definitely watch this coz I've always love rom-com and being this is a Hong sisters piece is a plus.....I'm not a fan of Lee Seung Gi but have seen his Brilliant Legacy and I liked it, first time to saw him there and he's ok to me, got screen presence though he is not the typical pretty boy like others which everybody loves about K-actors (and I must confess including me)....and when I learned that he is a great and famous singer too, look some of his songs and I must say I liked his voice too and quite intrigue in him coz I've seen some dramas where they're using some of Lee Seung Gi's song especially that famous song 'Will You Marry Me?' which I swear I've heard in three dramas and if I'm only a boy will probably used it too to win a girl's heart keke.....after this drama if it turned out to be good will probably become a LSG fan too.....

i had a teeny bit of doubt about the pairing (but was vastly relieved it was NOT to be SSK) but seeing their photos together i'm feeling a pull :)

ahhh but it seems like bad guy would NEVER EVEN GET TO END. it seems like it's run into a lot of issues- first with the timeslot getting pushed back and forth, then having skip a day, then world cup..... although i must say, my dramas-free life for the past week and a half has been surprisingly nice. so this is what a detox is.

Nice of him to write something in English on his twitter, he seems to enjoy the feedback. I guess if I had an account I would write something positive but simple to understand.

I think he is charming; attraction is not always about facial features, but he does have a "killer smile". He also seems to be very nice personality and seems like someone I could hang out with (What the heck is Jo Jung Rin up to anyways)
Also I had a crush on him when he did "She was Pretty" on Love Letter. I can't find a clip online of it nooooo

I'm always down for a Hong sisters drama.

Oh I didn't think he was ugly. And I usually don't get attracted by actors. I am just neutral to them and care more about real life people, ugly or handsome. It was just some objective comments after hearing that all korean actors have perfect features and such. Isn't it always a huge draw for korean dramas, with the near perfect looking cast always?

I never saw lee seung gi in anything and I have no comment about him as a person or actor. Don't take my brief notice so personally and seriously... In fact, if he weren't an actor and I saw him on the street I would say he looked like such a nice, calm, sweet guy and someone to get to know.

Adding a bit to my previous comment, being Asian too I have always been amazed at how good looking koreans seem to be through dramas. Everyone has the nice clearly defined nose and excellent bright skin, etc. I don't take it as a bad or good thing, just sort of took that for granted. In real life my expectations and judgments have nothing to do with appearance. The guy I find most attractive might not be that way to some others at all.

LSG is cute and he can make funny gesture with his face, i realize that he's not extremely handsome or pretty.. But he has charming appearance,, i like his act in Brilliant Legacy. I just knew that he really serious about his works, hosts, sings, and studies. Coz i Never saw him doing that things, haha! But i like him and Min ah.. I'll be waiting to watch this, Fi9hting!

I've been an avid fan of the Hong Sisters' works & have watched ALL their dramas!! Hope this one exceeds my expectations as well!!!

LSG is average looking at best, but he does the sweet, but a bit dorky guy so well (which is why he is perfect for this role).

In certain ways, LSG is like Rain - neither have particularly attractive faces, but they use their personality/charisma to make themselves more appealing.

As for SMA - she is simply gorgeous.

LSG is interesting guy... you have to watch the live television i forgot the title may be 3 days 2 nights?? He's very natural.. he want to do the hard task or playing shabby things. the longer you see you'll think he's cute. Don't understand why there're peoples that said he's ugly but I think that's LSG meaning it's the real LSG without any excessive plastic surgery. :) I like guy like that which don't have to be handsome but have a charming. He's very cute when his lunchbox that his mom prepared for him was taken by other actor. :)

i didn't quite like li seung gi when i first saw him. he just looks different from the usual kkotminam (pretty boys).

however, as i watched the way he carried himself on shows and awards ceremonies, i thought this guy has a bubbly personality. guess this is where his charm is. :)

It would indeed be difficult for most human beings to look good standing aside the likes of a Shin Mi Nah. If his average guy looks in any way put you off just do what I do; Concentrate your gazes of the beautiful starlet with whom he happens to be sharing the screen. There are a great many average looking talents. Many more in America than elsewhere and doesn't seem to bother us all that much. This actor won his position (much like other ordinary people like Oh Man Suk, Jang Hyuk, Sarah Jessica Parker, Bette Davis...) on his talents. This should be more than enough.

i dont find lee seung gi attracted in any ways either. his acting is so so not very impressive yet since ive seen all his drama minor or major roles. however i will give him another try by watching this drama

This actor is ugly, his smile looks like the joker of Batman. I just cannot understand why people consider him "handsome", not "so handsome" or "very handsome" just handsome. His acting skills and his personality might rock, however if we focus on his appearance he´s ugly or average (at most).

I really love Lee Seung Gi / Dae Woong shii..not just because he's soooo handsome..but he also got the voice,the moves and talents...Gosh!.I mean he's everything.! and this another drama from the Hong sisters is so great. I loved Seung gi's character.,that's why I really got adicted to this..Shin Min Ah is also is so pretty..her character here is very lovable.,Well because it ended up with an open story.,hope there would be Part 2!!!

Based from experience actors/ actresses whose screen registration is not so impressive in reality are those who are really good looking. I'm sure Lee Seung-gi falls on this category. I'm sure he is perfectly good looking physically and aside from the fact that he sings extremely well plus the fact that he is on his masteral degree. He displays a balanced outlook in terms of career and furthering his intellect.Wow he definitely deserves to be admired at 100% and be emulated. Hurray for LSG!
