Oooo I really love the costumes from Hong Gil Dong.

My prediction based on the pictures: Hong Gil Dong will be a ratings monster. Though I CANNOT stand Sung Yuri..I will watch the series at all cost because of Kang Ji Hwan.

Robbers just doesn't interest me, sorry.

Sarah!! I have high expectations for Hong Gil Dong too.. Ima going to cry with you if it disappoints, but I have a feeling it won't hehehee..

Ermm..I'm actually quite neutral with both HGD and Robbers/Bandits..cos I have favs in both dramas. So I'm excited about both the dramas.. ^______^

So far Robbers has re-captured my attention, after just watching the preview of Ep 1..Jang Hyuk's just SOOOOO HILARIOUS!! (trust me on this, check it out here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7i1TF4mE3V0/) I was expecting a really depressing and melo preview..but I had a good laugh watching it. It certainly doesn't seem like it's gonna be a sad drama to me... Da Hae's sort of reprising her cute and bubbly character, just like Yoo Rin in My Girl, but not so exaggerated and more subdued in here. So I guess, most probably she's not the self-sacrificing angel type of widow? But more of a feisty matyr type? hehehe..

And about Hong Gil Dong, you know what, I nearly fell down my chair when I saw KJH in that getup red glasses. lolz...he looked reallly weird and retarded..but very goofy-like and funny. HGD's definitely gonna rawk my sox...
And oh, I think you made a mistake about HGD's broadcasting station..it's KBS2 not MBC..

And lastly, I think HGD will win in ratings..but again, MBC's New Heart has already surpassed the 20% barrier last week..Hopefully, it won't affect both HGD and Robbers that badly..

is Hong Gil Dong loosely based on a manwha? speaking of manwha...they should make Jjang into a series if they haven't already done so.

I think the romantics will sway towards Robbers and us fun loving freaks will go for Hong Gil Dong. Is everyone going to resist making a comment about Kang Ji Hwan's red glasses? They're hilarious and so scary looking.

KJH looks like one of those old school glam rock stars. almost like Prince. it seems that he has really internalized his character. his body language just oozes confidence and attitude. hope he and Sung Yuri and the rest of the cast have great chemistry. story wise im not too worried. its the Hong sisters after all!

JH and LDH look good together. they seem to have better chemistry than KJH and SY. ah im sooo torn...

Sorry, after that 5 minute Robber/Bandit/Scoundrel/Jang Hyuk is hot preview... I'm Jang Hyuk-Lee Da Hae drama, ftw. Keeping an eye on both shows.

I hope Sung Yuri improved in her kissing scenes. I dont think i can stand seeing her kiss the hot KJH like a dead fish.

I'm completely psyched out for both. I hope that they do not disappoint. I haven't seen a good drama in so long!

Yay, Hong Gil Dong's pictures. Pretty. Now, that's what i call costumes. Those colors are fabulous. Whoever the costume designer is, s/he must have a lot of fun creating these outfits. Also like Jang Hyuk's styles in those pictures.

I'm actually looking forward to both. I can't wait to watch Bandits because of the cast: Lee Da Hae, one of my favorite actresses, and Jang Hyuk who I'm sure I will love once I see him act. But I've been waiting for another Hong Sisters drama to come out ever since I finished Fantasy Couple this summer! Eek, so excitedddd...

Seems like Lee Da Hae is also conning people, I have to hear it properly to know. Still The battle for ratings is gonna be tough! I mean well I read that New Heart, which is the medical drama which has replaced The Legend on MBC has already managed to gather more than 20%... Personally I think KBS is gonna do very good next week but that will have to wait at least two weeks to know who's gonna be the definite winner. But GOSH, Hong Gil Dong is still at the top of my list, I just can't help it, the costumes are just too classy!

I'm looking for both. But Hong Dal Gi is of course fun to watch mostly because I love comedy period drama since my birth. I loved watch Hong Kong comedy period drama. On the other hand, romantic melodrama with a tight script and unpredictable is my favoruite also. I didn't like LDH or Sung Yu Ri. I didn't watch My Girl because I didn't like so much her acting. I hope the choose someone in Sang Yuri role also. But whatever they all look great and the costume. Especilaly the glasess. Sure cracked me up. I anticipating both. Robbers is a heart-warming, funny melodrama ( based on preview episode 1).

Definitely love to watch Hong Gil Dong than Robber. My first reason is that HGD seem to be better casts, storyline, funny and interesting costumes than Robber. Second reason is that sung yuri is my no. 1 favourite korean actress, I love her acting.

All the BEST to HGD rating, hopely it will be better than Robber.

seriously speaking, the posters for bandit really turned me off. hope it's not as bad as it looks. heh... i'm worried for LDH after hello miss! and jang hyuk. it's the former's first after a flop and the latter's first after a decent review. so i guess we'll just have to see how it's like after it's shown.

as for HGD, cross our fingers that it's not too hard or difficult to take it... haha...

i hope HDG is a hit, i love kjh & sung yu ri is good too.
